Congress did have a committee investigate the JFK assassination back in 1976-1978.

After John Roselli testified he was murdered and his body was stuffed in a 55 gallon oil drum.

He did better than Sam Giancana who was murdered shortly before he was scheduled to appear before the committee.

Meanwhile the CIA engaged in ferocious lying and undermining of the investigation.

This is the best we can hope for from Congressional investigations....
