New video shows the chaotic aftermath of the attempted assassination of Donald Trump and reveals what led to the former president visibly asking for his shoes back. Initially dazed, Trump told agents: 'let me get my shoes, let me get my shoes' as he got up from the ground.
The video covers an angle previously unseen amid the chaos from behind Trump as he spoke. It shows the Secret Service tackling Trump and removing his shoes and tossing them off the stage. Trump himself has also seen the bizarre side of the incident, confirming what was visible on the video clip in the first interview he gave after the shooting.

The SS probably thought he had been shot in the body and wanted to make it worse.
That is a very tall ladder. I don’t think that even the SS would allow someone to walk around carrying it. I mean, it is okay to be blatant, but not that obvious.
As a woman, I agree! There are places for women in roles normally filled by men, but it should be the exception, not the rule.
Way off subject, but I work in the I.T. field. Core Infrastructure/Networking. Of the dozens of senior administrators maybe 10% are women. The girls I work with are no-nonsense which isn’t a trait most women possess. We think and reason differently. When I’m frustrated it takes a paragraph to get my thoughts out in a meeting whereas one of the men will say the same in one sentence lol.

Wow! Thank you for your service stanne. I admire women who ARE able to perform those type of jobs successfully. I wanted to be in the Marines as a teenager. Back then I thought I was tough and wanted to be a military police officer. I’m 5’4” tall and weighed maybe 115 at the time.
At the AFFES they pretty, much told me HELL NO. I chose communications instead....but as fate would have it I was plagued with kidney infections back then and never did make it in. God had other plans for my life :)

Re: why the shoes were thrown, I can think of a couple of reasons: (1) to keep people from tripping over them in the crush of people surrounding President Trump, OR (2) to try to make President Trump limp or look feeble as he was walked out. Thoughts?
My experience is that woman engineers are quite good. Women and men who have (what Dilbert called) ‘the knack’ are drawn to engineering.

Why not just state the facts: Trump was down on the floor with SS officers on top of him shielding him.
I can’t speak for their usefulness as SS agents, but that combo works for me generally.
