Also, LEO counter-snipers, including SS Officers, always wear a uniform that clearly identifies the person as an LEO.

They can try but that won't fly. Everyone expects Secret Service to be the elite protectors of President (current and former) and them blaming the cops in a small farm town would say that they are a bunch of incompetent fools. Nobody is going to say "Of course that makes sense, it was Officer Bubba that needed to secure the event all along!"

They need to take the L, admit they blew it, let some heads roll and do some real soul searching.

So, why did the copper not get behind a corner and fire several shots into the air? That would have gotten everyone alarmed and the SService snipers pointed in the right direction.

Good point. Had he done that, and created a commotion, he would have effectively ‘sounded the alarm’ that would have alerted everyone that there was a threat. This might have enabled the snipers to neutralize it before he could take aim.

Many horrible events have shown aftermaths where one authority blames the other. How perfect a set up to designate one building to the other authority, then orally tell the other authority (the local LE) that the SS is handling it. That leaves a plausible deniability. Just a miscommunication. 🤔

Would have also possibly (since they were so slow) gotten Trump pulled into safety / down faster.

The government doesn’t roll like that. They don’t believe in accountability. All that matters is protecting the agency and careers.

They are very good, however, at whitewashing and shifting blame. A lot of energy and resources will go into that.

I am sure the cop called the threat into his radio.

Then the communications folks for the cops called it into the Secret Service communications command and control.

Unfortunately that is where the conspirators were.

They did nothing.

On purpose.

With malice.

As planned.

When investigators get to that point the comm SS guys will just say “we did nothing wrong”.

They did nothing.

It reminds me of the kooky leftist mantra “Silence is Violence”.

In this case Silence is Violence.

It will be interesting to see how the SS whitewashes this event and/or shifts blame. You can be sure of that.

Then they are as corrupt as FBI and should be sent to protect low level flunkies in far off places and proper security people put in to run protective duties.

Robert Barnes says the whole state of Pennsylvania and the institutions within are totally corrupt.

So anything is possible.

The police wording on the vests were big. The smaller wording on the vests said Secret Service of the United States and had their logo.

Had to be inside.

What are odds that a 20yo known nutcase decided to drive over 30 miles to an unfamiliar area, use a police staging area, with the one roof that “happened” not to be covered even SS considered it vulnerable before the event, and scale the building like Superman, turn and scare off one police officer (who was also scaling the building like Superman), and able to turn back around, and somehow manage to mesmerize the counter snipers for 2-3 minutes while he was getting in place, and shooting.

He either has super powers or this was totally an inside job.

but investigators are trying to determine whether roof access had been properly locked down.

I am going to go out on a limb and suggest that no, it was not properly locked down.

This guy proves my point in that wearing just tshirt and shorts, he was able to successfully conceal his full length AR, make his way unnoticed into the event, all the way up onto the roof without the AR even printing in his tshirt, or shorts.

With it being the police staging area he probably had it concealed in donut boxes and waltzed right in.

He was acting strange around the entrance and police communicated to keep an eye on him when he gets in. He didn’t enter. Changed his mind. They lost sight of him because he walked away.
