U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon has dismissed the classified documents case against former President Donald Trump in an order Monday morning over the manner in which special counsel Jack Smith was appointed.
“The Superseding Indictment is DISMISSED because Special Counsel Smith’s appointment violates the Appointments Clause of the United States Constitution,” wrote Judge Cannon, who was appointed to the bench by the former president.

As in the King’s men movie, the liberal heads are likely exploding one by one all over this country.
To be clear, this means Merrick Garland as the US AG and a Judge VIOLATED the US constitution in his power grab appointment of Jack Smith.
He willfully, under the color of law, exercised authority not within his purview and should be immediailty removed from office!
Merrick Garland is a clear and present threat to our republic and the laws of the US Constitution he swore and oath to uphold. This ruling shows he has violated his oath in Smith’s appointment clearly outside of his authority and violated the Constitution of the United States!

That guy, “Smith”, or whatever his name is, will not be able to walk the streets. Now that he is no longer “special” I would think that would bother him.

Yes, it should have been dismissed months ago; however, Cannon has handled this case just right. She gave Jack Smith every opportunity to make his case and arguments for every motion he and the Trump defense made during this entire case.
A question now is, is Trump entitled to all his legal expenses to be paid by the DOJ, plus huge damages for violation of his constitutional and civil rights; and exactly who at the DOJ has standing to argue against those damages. It certainly can’t be anyone on Jackass Smith’s team.
