RealClearPolitics White House and National Political Correspondent Susan Crabtree dropped an important report on the failure of the Secret Service to protect President Donald J. Trump and those around him during last week’s Pennsylvania rally.
According to Crabtree, the potential lack of drones and the “DEI” protocols at the Secret Service contributed to the failure, but the biggest reason Trump’s life was put in danger is because rules of engagement prohibit snipers from engaging until the assassin shoots first.

Dan Bongino just said the opposite. They’re allowed to neutralize a person who is aiming a rifle in the direction of the protectee.
Did “Jo biden” just make up this rule?
But how much of what they’re telling us is part of the coverup?
They should have had President Trump on the ground before the jerk raised his weapon. The Secret Service is incompetent. Bigly.
“Okay, so don’t open fire. Can you at least warn the potential victim so he can get out of the way?”
Exactly. They had plenty of time to do that.
The communications were intentionally sabotaged to prevent that from happening.
Yet. The Secret Service defensive snipers were able, in mere seconds, to identity the source of the shot by Mr Crooks?? Is that possible, without already having that rooftop as a target?? I am no sharp shooter no arms expert at all, so my questions come from not knowing expert answers, not that I know what those answers should be.
I think its safe to say that if they see a person with a gun who is NOT a Secret Service agent, that person should be shot whether they have fired or not.
If that’s true... unforgivable. Director needs to resign and leadership needs a major shakeup.
so this guy Crooks could have had a Gatling Gun and they would wait ?
I call total bullshit on this.
Ok so you’re main objective is to keep Trump alive, but you see a sniper zeroing in on his target. The one YOU are there to protect, and you allow him to shoot first?
What in the HELL area they talking about?
“Okay, so don’t open fire. Can you at least warn the potential victim so he can get out of the way?”
Makes sense. Get Trump out of the way - take a break - and check it out. That is if this report is even true.
HOWEVER
MOVE THE PROTECTEE TO COVER IMMEDIATELY
The Secret Service knew that an assassin was lining up his rifle to shoot Trump and they let him keep speaking totally unaware that his life was in danger.
People need to go to prison for this.
I believe your last sentence is scarily correct.
That has to be complete BS. You have to let them squeeze off a shot before you can shoot back. Can’t be correct.
My birthday was July 13th and during a celebration dinner party at my sister’s home, heard that Trump had been shot. After finding out details and that he was going to be ok, one of our guests said that ROE was probably the reason for the ss not shooting when they had the rifleman in his sights. We wrongfully and heartily disagreed because in what stupid universe would ANYONE wait for an assassin to get ONE SHOT out before taking them out?????
Unless you are Joe and Jill Biden with a crackhead felon son and you don’t want to leave the White Trailer.
This DEI BS needs to be abolished. And no fat scared little girls in the SS.
The issue is, it puts the onus of deciding what is an actual firearm, on a Secret Service sniper. The chance of a mistake is too great.
However, there is NO RISK associated with moving the Protectee out of the line of (potential) fire.
Careful, your critical thinking skills are showing.
Don’cha know? You leave him up there as bait for and entire minute. Protocol ya know.
Biden and the head of the Secret Service need to resign immediately if true. Inexcusable.
Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. Wrong.
Somebody needs to go to jail.
That's exactly right. The last thing this country needs is a bunch of government employees of marginal intelligence with guns and "shoot-to-kill" orders against American citizens.
What could possibly go wrong? I'd ask Ashli Babbitt, but she's not around to give her take on this.
