RealClearPolitics White House and National Political Correspondent Susan Crabtree dropped an important report on the failure of the Secret Service to protect President Donald J. Trump and those around him during last week’s Pennsylvania rally.
According to Crabtree, the potential lack of drones and the “DEI” protocols at the Secret Service contributed to the failure, but the biggest reason Trump’s life was put in danger is because rules of engagement prohibit snipers from engaging until the assassin shoots first.

But it was a police sniper, not SS.

I wouldn’t be surprised if some secret service agents were told if they see something suspicious to look the other way and just let it take its course. I hope the good Lord takes Trump under his wings.
That’s what I said!! I said they should have shot the pad off his right index finger so he couldn’t pull the trigger!!
FReepers were like “you watch too many movies” and “You’re stupid” and stuff.
*
Their protocol makes sense to me! Because after all it COULD be just an innocent guy or gal (or tranny) lying on his/her tummy innocently pointing his/her rifle at the president, all with the best of intentions. You wanna be sure before you take out an innocent!
No. Didn’t happen. No law enforcement officer of any agency allows a mulligan. Show lethal threat, get shot. Orders on engagement come after that.
If, as the SS claims, the roof was the responsibility of local law enforcement, the SS snipers were not 100% sure the person was not part of that local LE.
Two points. One, SS can give away tasks to local LE, but not RESPONSIBILITY. And two, he was looking at the scrote through high power binoculars and the telescope on the rifle. So effectively he was 20 yards away or even less. It would be obvious that it was a scrawny long haired hippy in street clothes low crawling... not a uniformed cop standing a post.
Exactly. Incompetence as a cover for a despicable plan. Reminds me of the Afghanistan debacle.
But let’s go with the Keystone Kops excuse. In that case, arrest today all agents involved, and their full chain of command, for wanton criminal negligence.
Any Sheriffs out there interested in getting to the bottom of this?
“Internet rumors are that the counter-sniper had the perp sighted...”
Watch the video and you can see that they clearly had him sighted: https://nypost.com/2024/07/13/us-news/video-shows-moment-secret-service-snipers-kill-trump-gunman/
There is no such thing as a disabling shot with a sniper rifle. Hit someone ANYWHERE with a 308, a 338 Lapua (very popular) or a 300 Win Mag and without immediate skilled first aid, they will probably die.
Somebody needs to hang.
Let the buzzards and flys eat on em.
How did the RATs get such a big group of evil doers willing to do the dirty work.“
The rats have had control of the FBI for 12 of the last 16 years that’s how.
Just absolutely DISGUSTING AND IGNORANT!!
Gee, don’t protect the guy in his site.
I don’t believe it, but I’m open to be persuaded. Show me some proof.
Pretty sure an LEO belatedly securing the roof would have (1) been in uniform and (2) would not have been pointing a rifle in the direction of the VIP target. The failure to engage really doesn’t make sense.
I think the good Lord already did take Trump under his wings, very publicly and blatantly.
I think that’s why Trump is so upbeat and fired up right now, as Bongino and others who have talked to him are saying.
I also think that’s why the people who are saying “If only Trump would have been killed....” are short-sighted. I don’t think they’re realizing Who they’re really fighting.
Best way to disable is how Crooks was shot
Someone needs to find “Jonathan Willis” and get his deposition under oath before he becomes very depressed and shoots himself 3 times in the back of the head.
