I’m pretty sure Dan Bongino would disagree with this.
Harrymwould disagree we’re ne alive…
Get the females out of the SS. The “A Few Good Men” speech comes to mind by Nicholson. It’s so retarded that there were 3 or 4 of women in yesterday’s detail they looked like shrimps.
So Trump has never really had proper security all along. Wow.
What a cheap shot. Passing the buck.
SS is almost as bad as the FIB.
SS is almost as bad as the FIB.
Well after all, their boss is Mayorkas, the guy who doesn’t just refuse to accept any responsibility for the border crisis, but claims there isn’t one. I would expect nothing less from any department under his purview.
Great.
Fire them and find SS who will do their job.
The job of the Secret Service is to protect the President. If someone 2000 miles makes a threat, they come knocking on their door. Someone that is a threat 200 yards away is their problem.
The FUBI will investigate this thing for decades as they give America the double salute.
One or more people were not “with the program,” meaning one person should have been giving orders. Maybe that person was seconded at the last moment to cover Jill Biden’s jaunt?
Butler County District Attorney Richard Goldinger said his office maintains an Emergency Services Unit team, which deployed four sniper teams and four “quick response teams” at the rally. But he said the Secret Service agents were in charge of security outside the venue.
“They had meetings in the week prior. The Secret Service ran the show. They were the ones who designated who did what,” Goldinger said. “In the command hierarchy, they were top, they were No. 1.”
Goldinger said the commander of the Emergency Services Unit told him it was not responsible for securing areas outside the venue. “To me, the whole thing is under the jurisdiction of the Secret Service. And they will delineate from there,” he said.
The former senior Secret Service agent also said that even if local law enforcement “did drop the ball,” it’s still the agency’s responsibility “to ensure that they are following through either beforehand or in the moment.”
So they just threw their hands up, and let the shit-show proceed, huh? Sorry, you don’t get off that easy.
SS can delegate responsibility but SS cannot delegate blame.
Dan Bongino has a scoop info— there were very few actual Secret Service agents there at the rally to protect Trump. The bulk of the team there were.... DHS “security” people— not trained or anywhere near the standards of the Secret Service. This DECISION came from the head of Secret Service— a former Pepsi Security person (the Cheetos Division) Ms. Cheatle (whom Bongino says should be fired btw).
Ms. Cheatle works for Alejandro Mayorkas head of DHS. They have not been inside the Treasury Dept. which is where they should be right now since 2003 the “reorg” that GW Bush came up with idiotically to prevent security disasters by forming the “Homeland” Security. An equally stupid name taken from the UK notion of the “Home Guard” from WWII. Just... lame. No higher security clearance than the Secret Service under the Treasury Dept agency— wonder what it is now they are diminished by this added gift along with TSA from GW Bush. We ‘feel’ so much more secure.
Bongino tomorrow should be an high powered show.
This is NOT how it works.
SS is responsible. If you have another agency filling in gaps as a mitigation strategy, you still have to ensure it’s being done.
Finally, not securing the main rooftop where I shooter could shoot, is NOT a great idea to delegate. The SAIC could have assigned one CAT member and this never happens.
As I predicted last night
