A former classmate of the 20-year-old Pennsylvania man law enforcement identified as the shooter who opened fire at former President Donald Trump’s rally says he was "bullied almost every day" at school. NBC News' Shaq Brewster reports on what is known about the background and life of Thomas Matthew Crooks.

Bullied about what?
I think most everyone is bullied at some time in their lives.
Only white kid and weird. Then only orthodox Jew in hippy school, and new at it. And weird. Sometimes I was bullied. Sometimes I was class clown to be popular by disrupting teacher. Then at yeshiva and non-conformist in some ways, and became outcast. A few times, very few, I successfully fought back against tormentors. You get over it. I preferred being an outcast.
So what’s Crooks’ major malfunction?
Parents when a child does things like this are usually unaware and out to lunch.
I do find is crazy that the security lapses just ‘happened’ and only reason Trump is alive is the turning of his head.
Someone definitely wanted Trump dead and either Trump is EXTREMELY lucky, or God was watching over him.
Good thing that didn’t release the Nashville shooter’s manifesto. Cause it is a blueprint to mass &#%*{} event.
Changing the subject to their pet. Anything to get away from Trump being hit and the death of his supporters. Vermin media.
Maybe he watched the old movie about Alexander the Great(1956) in which one man says the best way to be remembered is to kill a Great man. that way when the Great man is mentioned so will be his assassin. So Phillip of Macedon was assassinated.
In a small farming town, there aren’t any alternatives, other than home schooling.
Teenagers are often a@@-holes. They don’t like people who are different than they and their friends. Easy to be branded an outcast.
I got over it and never shot anybody.
Today I have more money and success than 95% of those turds. Maybe higher percentage than that.
Living well is the best revenge.
If he had shot up his high school at least that would have made sense..but what does being bullied in high school have to do with trying to assassinate a former and future president of the united states
Video from 2020 purported to involve the kid. “Slash Republican throats” is said to be one of his choicer statements.

He also has that David Hogg fetal alcohol syndrome thing working.
“Subdivisions!”
I wonder if the ‘bullied because he was gay’ excuse will appear? Probably.
Sure as hell looks like him, although he would be 16/17 y/o. That is questionable.
Oh, here we go.
I was bullied by a guy from September to almost May in 8th grade. He wasn’t all that large, but I wasn’t the mad dog I am now.
One day he shoved me (again), and I snapped. I sucker punched him in the back of the head and we went at it for 30-40 seconds fist flying, and I was winning. Teach broke us up.
The deal with us kids was any fight at school was settled off school grounds after school at the regular fighting spot. The word went out and by the end of school about 100 kids had gathered to watch us. I showed, he didn’t. The crowd loved me. Felt like a damn hero. The former bully never said another word to me or came near me that year or the next.
Very similar to my experience.
High school in the 70s was no place for sissies.
