Right. I would pose for a 20 year old kid to graze my ear at 135 yards with a 5.56mm rifle. These people have seen too many Clint Eastwood movies with no input of reality. When I was in law enforcement, a friend of mine killed a man who came at him with a knife. A newspaper reporter, with a straight face, asked why the officer didn’t shoot it out of his hand. Morons.

Exactly how does one "stage" an assassination attempt that catches Trump on the tip of his right ear (or some other, non life threatening spot), rather than hitting him somewhere more vital? The shooter was a 20 year old Republican-hating, Trump-hating man-child. Certainly not a trained sniper, which is what would be needed to pull off such a fake assassination attempt.
The idea is laughable on its face.
