I posted this earlier tonight. The first paragraph is from an article that and I applied a correction to in bold.
"Trump’s presence of mind and sense of the moment, after having just been nearly killed and perhaps while still in mortal peril, speak to his natural talents and instincts as a politician and populist symbol innate warrior mentality that he has had his entire life."
Dana White said as much and so have others. It is obvious in interviews he had in the '80s and '90s. He's not playing political games or acting a part for the crowd. Trump is exactly what he presents as.
His reaction when he was shot is notable too. No fear, no wincing just grabbed the side of his head and had a sort of wtf? kind of look on his face. Then he recognized the situation almost immediately and dropped.
I think that qualifies as passing a cognitive test. :)
