The take away was the shooter was taken out seconds after trump was hit and the audible proves it” shooter down” which means their sites were on him they knew where he was and they waited until he did his deed and then got rid of the evidence

Make no mistake. There is no acceptable reason why a building overlooking the stage with a perfect shooting position was left unguarded. Even nearby observers saw the shooter crawling on that roof with a rifle.

Still.....someone needs to get fired, and it isn't the sniper. Start with the DIE hire USSS boss and work your way down. Their should have been blue force on every roof within 500, heck 1000m of Trump. More counter snipers with better fields of view, a transparent Level IIIA ballistic shield in front of him, etc. Total fail on the pre site USSS inspection team.

Having be been “high bird” and “low bird” on EVP ops, I’m thinking the shooter got in the snipers OODA loop as the sniper is thinking (and trying to confirm), is he one of ours? Is he blue team? Probably using interoperbility channel VTAC or such IOT get blue team status until he was SURE. They train for that. Just my guess

Oh. Now that’s a possibility I had not considered. It was quite clear from the video that there was a man on the roof with a rifle. But did the cop on stage know if he was a friendly or an enemy? In any event, he should’ve known.
3–5 seconds? Watching the video, you see the cops take out the shooter in a split second. Even before Trump hit the deck.
Those snipers were not Secret Service but local police. The SS does not have POLICE on their backs. Probably the fine and highly trained local police SWAT team like the one in Uvalde.

From what I can gather, the roof the shooter was on has a slight incline up towards the shooter’s head. It is possible that the counter-snipers couldn’t see him because he was below their line of vision until he raised his head to take the shot.
They still knew he was there. They should have been pinging the edge of the roof with suppressive fire while the agents on the ground hustled Trump off stage. Its a no brainner. People on the ground 50 ft from the building were pointing right at the guy.
I’m so not a trained shooter but me with my AK 74 at 150 yards with my holographic sight Which is pretty crappy I’m cookie cutting the edge of that roof. I wouldn’t care what was being said in my ear bud I would have shot at that guy and worried about getting sacked later.
