ABC 7 noted that, as of Sunday, July 7, 2024, Chicago, Illinois, was nearly at 1,200 shootings for 2024.
Ironically, Sunday was the last day of the July 4, 2024, weekend โ a weekend in which at least 100 people were shot, 17 of them fatally, in the Windy City.
According to ABC 7, Chicago Police Superintendent Larry Snelling reacted to the July 4 weekend violence by saying, โWe cannot take our eyes off the ball. We cannot stop thinking about the people who have been victimized by this crime.โ

Maybe make one of those matrix (or whatever you call it) photo arrays of tiny pictures of them all (faces blurred) in squares.
They used to have one at the start of the show Bull.
1,200 shot (apparently not killed).
Without the big advances in trauma care over the last few decades, MANY more people would be dying from all the shooting. Murder rate would be MUCH higher.
Chicago shooting is no longer a news worthy story. People just quietly and nervously watch it lest it spreads over to other neighborhoods in suburban area
Down deep, I meant bottom deep, people know blacks are simply not capable of maintaining any form of economic system like city or state or country. But
There is nothing people can say or do except adopting moving life style to avoid them
Soros prosecutor Kim Foxx begs to differ.
Oh, boys are just having fun!
So who is doing the shooting? Black gang members, Venezuelan gang members, Colombians, Africans, who? The city has been flooded with migrants. Are there turf wars happening?
Hey, yeah!
Democratic policy at play in Chicago!
This, in spades.
Politicians today are too gutless to talk about the black underclass criminals and their “leaders” disguised as Community Organizers.
Every election cycle they coddle blacks and try to get their vote. Singing and rapping with them. It’s beyond disgusting.
Just cut them a check and let them resettle to their own homeland in Sub-Saharan Africa.
This is the result of forcing โpeopleโ who never evolved past squatting in the mud while slapping flies from their lips to live in modern society.
If you have to go to Chicago, Lincoln Park and Lakeview (Wrigley Field area) are safe for the most part. They are North of most of the city attractions, museum, aquarium, Soldier Field. Parking, and traffic are horrific.
If you are in a minor fender bender, highly likely the person responsible is going to just keep driving. That happened to me in 1990, (lite kiss on my rear bumper) fortunately damage was not that evident and the Rental Car company didn’t mention it. Whatever you do make sure your accommodation includes parking. I stayed in Lakeview in 2018 and street parking was a nightmare, made a bit better by cell phone app payment for your spot with renewal required every couple of hours. Often you have to move your car after 4 hours or so and street parking changed to no parking during rush hour.
he loft I stayed in was about 2 miles from Wrigley and it didn’t come with parking. The parking restrictions were even worst when the Cubs were in town including directly in front of our loft. And that was the case as we were in town for Concerts and a Cubs game vs St Louis.
I have been to Chicago 3x, 2x for Business, and the last time for pleasure. Never again unless I’m on an all inclusive vacation package with buses / transportation provided.
A good rule of thumb is that 20% of those shot perish from their injuries.
Wait'll next month.
BINGO!!!!! They don’t even know how to USE A TOILET!!
This is a cultural thing. If they were in Africa, they’d be going at it with assegai. So black lives really don’t matter, unless a policeman is involved./SARC
Somehow, sharecroppers down south didn’t have any driveby shootings among themselves. Driveby shootings were the Night Riders’ department.
