Connecticut Congressman Jim Himes (D) has called upon President Joe Biden to step aside from his presidential campaign.
Himes is the first member of Connecticut’s Congressional delegation to publicly do so.
“The 2024 election will define the future of American democracy, and we must put forth the strongest candidate possible to confront the threat posed by Trump’s promised MAGA authoritarianism,” Himes said in a post on X shortly after Biden’s press conference on Thursday. “I no longer believe that is Joe Biden, and I hope that, as he has throughout a lifetime of public service, he will continue to put our nation first and, as he promised, make way for a new generation of leaders.”

A whopping three people showed up at a Biden for President at the Pennsylvania State Capitol with legislators on Thursday.“Biden for President–Reproductive Freedom: Members of the PA State Legislature will join Amanda Zurawski and Kaitlyn Joshua — two women denied life-saving abortions due Donald Trump’s abortion ban–for a reproductive freedom rally,” the announcement said.
Three people showed up. There were more news reporters than attendees at the Biden rally at Soldier’s Grove. Four reporters showed up to the Biden for President pro-abort rally.

The calls from his own party aren’t stopping, the donors have apparently stopped giving - Biden’s wife and aides are going to give up at some point, maybe the Dem convention. Get ready for Kamala Harris as Trump’s opponent in the fall, and get ready for the type of women who watch “The View” to vote for her in droves - she might win, which will be a calamity for the nation and the world.
Biden simply tells us how great he is. People who always boast of their so-called accomplishments are very sick. No man or woman needs to pat their own back unless they are mental. In 8 1/2 years in SF no man I knew or ran into ever did this. If one is truly great others do the talking.

practically the first words out of joe’s mouth at the “big boy” press conference was saying he thought “Vice President Trump” would do a find job as Joe’s VP ... I doubt if Donald is going to be too happy about being Joe’s VP ...
