EXETER, N.H. — Brendan DuBois, a 64-year-old New England man who is an award-winning American fiction and suspense writer, was arrested Wednesday and charged with possession of child pornography, according to Exeter police.
Exeter police said they opened an investigation into DuBois in March, working in conjunction with the Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce.
Police said a search warrant was later executed, and an arrest warrant was issued for DuBois, a town resident.
Police said DuBois turned himself in to the Exeter Police Department on Wednesday.
According to police, DuBois faces six felony complaints of possession of child pornography.
He was held for preventative detention and scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday at the 10th Circuit Court in Brentwood, according to police.
The New York Times bestselling author has collaborated on writing projects with James Patterson and appeared on Jeopardy! in 2012.
"We are deeply disturbed by the serious allegations against Brendan DuBois," a spokesperson for Severn River Publishing said in a written statement. "While we respect the legal process, we have decided to immediately suspend all promotion and sales of Mr. DuBois' books."
"We believe these steps are necessary to uphold our values and maintain the trust of our readers, authors, and the publishing community," the statement said.
Just another perverted liberal in a sea of perverted liberals.
Another prep school pantswetter.
DuBois recently worked with Severn River Publishing House, which removed his work from their website after the charges came to light.
“We are deeply disturbed by the serious allegations against Brendan DuBois. While we respect the legal process, we have decided to immediately suspend all promotion and sales of Mr. DuBois’ books,” the publishing company wrote in a statement.
Pretty swift reaction? What does that tell us? Might not have seen this a few years ago?
Wonder what was in the contract with the publisher?

It’s just business as usual for the left coast.
How do people end up in this place? When does this fascination with children start? Is it always there? This guy is a monster. At the absolute least he is supporting an industry that victimizes and destroys children. How or when does someone become a monster?
