Former President Donald Trump blasted George Clooney for only calling on President Biden to drop out of the upcoming election weeks after seeing him in his diminished condition at a fundraiser, telling the movie star he should “Get out of politics and go back to TV.”
Trump called out Clooney on Truth Social Wednesday night, saying he “turned on Crooked Joe like the rats they both are” after Clooney, 63, published an op-ed in the New York Times calling on Biden to drop out of the 2024 presidential race weeks after he co-hosted a fundraiser for him that brought in some $30 million.
“What does Clooney know about anything? He uses the Democrat ‘talking point’ that Biden, the WORST President in the history of the United States, has ‘saved our Democracy,'” Trump wrote in the post.
“No, Crooked Joe was the one who WEAPONIZED Law Enforcement against his political Opponent, who created the most devastating INFLATION in the history of our Country, who Embarrassed our Nation in Afghanistan, and whose crazy Open Border Policy has allowed millions of people to illegally pour into our Country, many from prisons and mental institutions,” he said.
Trump then added: “Crooked Joe Biden didn’t save our Democracy, he brought our Democracy to its knees.”
The former president offered the Hollywood star some advice, writing, “Clooney should get out of politics and go back to television. Movies never really worked for him!!!”

I, for one, like that Trump takes on people like Clooney. Hollywood, Silicon Valley, and Wall Street are most definitely part of America’s political process, although they want Americans to believe they are above politics. Its good to take them down a peg and for Trump to remind America of this.
Clooney’s hypocrisy is stunning - less than a month ago, he hosted a fund-raiser for Biden which supposedly netted Pedo Joe $28 million. Now Clooney is out attacking Joe in the NY Times.
