Senator Chuck Schumer, Senate Majority Leader, is reportedly open to a new presidential candidate to lead the Democratic Party ticket. This comes as the fallout from Joe Biden's disastrous debate performance just keeps getting worse. Schumer had indicated prior to the debate, as well, that he was open to a new nominee should Biden fail to deliver.
Axios reports that "Over the last twelve days, Schumer has been listening to donors' ideas and suggestions about the best way forward for the party, according to three people familiar with the matter." Even as Schumer has been saying he's all in "for Joe," he's been signaling to donors that he's willing to change to a candidate who has a better change of winning against Donald Trump.
Agreed. Wait for chaos at the convention.
During all of this discussion and noise about Joe Biden being outed as senile, has any democrat ever mentioned the words “in the best interests of America and the world”, or has it all been political in nature?
When the masses turn a blind eye to evil, then evil flourishes.

I think a lot of people have woken up to a lot of things over the past year or so. And God is rewarding us for this.
So when I hear people say “they had all of this planned out, and it’s all going exactly according to plan” it makes me want to tear my hair out!.....Oh ye of little faith!

This isn’t working out the way I thought it would at all. I’m still having fun and buying popcorn as I watch, of course.
It turns out that there is no “solution” for the Democrats. They have to navigate about 20 steps to swap candidates. They each have to be done one at a time, and even the first step turns out to take weeks.
First Biden has to withdraw/resign. That hasn’t happened yet, and may not ever. It doesn’t matter what any of the formerly important voices on the Democratic side say until that is done.
He can be challenged without withdrawing, but that turned out to be impossible for all the people who would have to act. His staff isn’t going to do anything. His cabinet isn’t going to do anything. Congressional Democrats aren’t going to do anything but whine. The Democrat Convention might do something, but they won’t even get the chance until the middle of August.
First step— Biden has to resign/withdraw. He may keep us entertained for a long time before that is decided.

Seems likely. Were Biden to be sacked during the NATO summit, all hell could break loose, and not in a good way.
If I were them, I’d create an emergency - maybe something concerning the NATO summit, like false intel that Pooty has readied tactical nukes close to Ukraine.

He’s not, in my estimation, but he thinks he is. Having people be dismissive of him really grates on someone like Biden.

LOL. We're talking about Democrats here. They'll do whatever is most expedient for them at any given moment, regardless of the legitimacy or consequences.
They don't need a salable substitute candidate. They already have "the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics", as Joe Biden blurted out in a video in October of 2020.
That organization still exists. They succeeded in defrauding the election of 2020 and they will try the same thing in 2024.
