*** Trump’s nationwide lead over Biden increased to six points among likely voters after the CNN debate, according to The New York Times/Siena poll, marking his largest lead in the poll since 2015.***

Which will disappear once the mail out, then drop off ballots are tallied.

There really are a lot of Dems in NY who would vote for Joe no matter how baked his brains appears to be, SAD!

Steve Sailer at Unz uses a hundred or so words to say what should be evident to anyone with a pulse - even if some other Democrat has a greater chance of winning 2024, it matters not at all to Biden, because the most important thing to Joe’s personal interest is that if anyone wins, that man is him. So long as he’s within striking distance, and he is - he’s staying in. He won’t quit and they can’t make him.

In general, leaders don’t quit unless they’re forcibly removed. Democrats simply lack the force to take Joe out of the race.

https://www.unz.com/isteve/peak-state-theory-2/
[My Peak State theory suggests that often the guy nominally at the peak of the publicly disseminated organization chart, such as President Joe Biden, often has a remarkable amount of power to resist everybody not at the top of the org chart, especially if he is a stubborn old fool. What you see is what you get.
Obviously, the Establishment, whoever they are precisely, doesn’t want Trump to win. And they feel that Biden’s knuckleheaded refusal to now gracefully bow out is going to get Trump elected.
But, whaddaya whaddaya? Sure, we are the shadowy cabal of handlers, shotcallers, insiders, and global power-brokers. We are the people that Donald Sutherland warned you about in JFK (along with far more that he didn’t know about yet).

But Dr. Jill doesn’t want Joe to quit, Hunter doesn’t want Joe to quit, and Joe doesn’t want Joe to quit. Against the combined might of Dr. Jill, Hunter, and Joe, we are stumped.]

Polls are designed to sell more advertising and polls, period. If it’s not a horse race the money dries up. Will it be closer, yes, but NY EV’s will not go to Trump, no matter how hard he tries. It will however help down ballot results.

Trump had to spend a lot of time there while the “trial” was ongoing.

An unthinkable outcome has a remote shot this election.

We win a deep blue state yet lose one of the fraud riddled swing states.

I can only imagine the pretzel logic that they would employ in what would be the biggest neon fraud sign to date.

Well, why would a Black person stand in line to cast a vote for a senile old white guy that has done NOTHING to make their lives better???

“The money that needs to be spent here will be subtracted from other areas he’s going to lose,” former Democratic Gov. David Paterson of New York told Politico.

I honestly had no idea Paterson was still alive. Where are they keeping that old kook hidden?

Like California, it is a one-party, leftist-woke state, with a bloated woke government in thrall to NY City leftists.

NY is a lot like the former East Germany in many ways. It won’t change without an economic collapse or political revolution. Republicans win many local elections on election night, only to find they lost after all the absentee and mail-in votes arrive.

NY City doesn’t even count all its votes - since Covid in “uncompetitive” races, it merely counts “most” and extrapolates the results.

“If I’m a Democrat in some of these suburban races, I’d run the hell away from Joe Biden,” Laura Curran, former Nassau County executive, told Politico.

I’ve heard a bit about her, and also heard her on some local radio.

She’s a Dem, yeah, but she’s also a smart, pragmatic one. If she says something, it’s worth paying attention to.

Maybe I’ve missed something but the last poll was in March. Until there’s a new poll there is no basis for excitement over ny going red. IMHO.

The democrats who had thousands of pages of Obamacare ready to go.
They laid the groundwork for the pandemic with the 2014 Obama act that hypervirilization was too dangerous to be done in the US.
This all sounds planned and definite GOP rope a dope. C

“We’re still acting like this is a one-party state, which for pretty much 20, 25 years it has been,”

Curiously, I left 20, 25 years ago.

Just in time, apparently.
