What you can’t do is commit crimes - often violent crimes - with impunity. That’s exactly why the Klan wore masks and exactly why many Southern states have mask bans.

Except for the rules of private establishments, one should have the right to wear whatever dopey mask or racist hood that they want. Plus, with the exception of elderly people or recent organ transplants, I prefer to see the clear signal from my presumed enemy. Ninety percent of the time, it’s akin to seeing a rattle on a snake. Gives us warning to dispatch that snake.

Just this morning I saw a young and vigorous looking fool in the grocery store parking lot, inside his car and driving with all his windows up, wearing a mask.

One would think after Jan 6 and mania of going after the people who showed up there, and rise of the authoritative left that the ‘right’ would learn to hide their identifies and would want to use every advantage at a public protest or meet up. Being able to cover yourself from being doxxed by the left is a concern, and anyone should be able to cover their identity in public.
