House Judiciary Committee Report Exposes Shadowy Corporate Coordination to Silence Conservatives
Breitbart ^ | 10 Jul 2024 | Bradley Jaye

The House Judiciary Committee released a damning report Wednesday morning with shocking details of corporate collusion to silence conservative viewpoints through targeting Breitbart News, Joe Rogan, and Twitter (now X) among others.

The committee released its report just hours before hearing testimony from Herrish Patel, President of Unilever USA, and Christian Juhl, Global Chief Executive Officer of GroupM. Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) alleges those companies, as members of the Global Alliance for Responsible Media’s (GARM) Steer Team, may have violated antitrust laws in their efforts to deprive conservative media outlets and personalities as well as companies daring to platform conservative viewpoints of advertising dollars.

“Through GARM, large corporations, advertising agencies, and industry associations participated in boycotts and other coordinated action to demonetize platforms, podcasts, news outlets, and other content deemed disfavored by GARM and its members,” the report reads. “This collusion can have the effect of eliminating a variety of content and viewpoints available to consumers.”

GARM, an initiative of the powerful World Federation of Advertisers (WFA), holds tremendous market power in the advertising industry. The report, “GARM’S Harm: How the World’s Biggest Brands Seek to Control Online Speech”, reveals damning evidence of GARM’s potentially illegal conduct.

The report also reveals that in a transcribed interview with the committee, GARM’s leader and co-founder, Rob Rakowitz, repeatedly “provided … inaccurate information” and contradicted documented evidence obtained by the committee.

“Exposes” but what are they going to do about it. The GOP has demonstrated over the past 15 years that they talk a good game but end up doing nothing, or claim that they can’t do anything without a bigger majority, or getting control of the Senate, or getting the presidency. Then when they have all that, they still do nothing.

I would say these corporations should be prosecuted for collusion, but let’s get real. These are Republicans we’re talking about. They’ll never stand up to large corporations. Maybe after all the RINOs have been forced out and replaced with MAGA candidates but not before.

The rights of citizens, by definition, hamstring the government. That’s the entire point. She must be unclear on the concept.

To be clear-

I’m reading this as

WPP via Group M via GARM is behind an immense of the de-platforming.

They steered advertisers away fr X et al, deeming it harmful to brands.

Yet, WPP still uses X to advertise itself.

We’re getting limited on X again as the election approaches

but the entity that is seemingly behind the precipitous drop off in X ad revs despite the site being busier than ever faces no limiting and has the audacity to consider employing it themselves.

sundance X/Tweet – Essentially the worst elements of the IC were always present within the deep parts of the apparatus (the “dark arts” parts where the Dick Cheney’s and John Brennan hung out together). However, they were present, but they were not in operational control.

After 9/11, post Patriot Act, the ranks of the IC bad actors began to swell, as the anger amid the general nation seemed to permit it.

Then a big inflection point. Obama was elected.

Obama’s team saw the opening to exploit, which was created by the newly formed Dept of Homeland Security and Office of the Director of National Intel.

Obama, now with Brennan (CIA) and Holder (DOJ), then used the preexisting IC weapons to turn the system internally. The weaponization and surveillance system began targeting operations inside the USA. The targets were then defined as Obama’s ideological enemies (see DOJ/IRS targeting of Tea Party or Patriot groups).

The IC became a domestic targeting operation, with full surveillance power under the auspices of “national security.” That’s the current system we now see.

The FBI was always political, the new IC system made that exponentially worse. The DOJ National Security Division was created, which then weaponized Main Justice. We see this now.

DHS was used to conduct surveillance operations. Thus, social media companies were recruited by DHS for enhanced targeting operations along with speech control, censorship via Google, Facebook, Insta., Twitter etc.

With control over communication and information, the domestic weaponization got worse and worse. Now the DHS weaponizing systems are like HAL-9000, almost virtually self-aware and autonomous. Artificial Intelligence has made this surveillance capture speed even worse.

As with all institutions created by government, the DHS priority now includes self-preservation.

Obama holds influence in the dynamic of the people within the political silos, fellow ideologues. However, the IC no longer has any restraints, controls or bosses.

The IC function is now a weaponized system, with full surveillance power, that can target any threat, ANY THREAT, including the politicians who empowered and created it. That’s why the politicians are scared of it.

Whenever I see an article with a damning accusation in the headline, I always scan through the article to see if it includes the name “Jim Jordan”. If it does include it then I automatically know that the article is BS, nothing will ever be done to solve the problem claimed in it and I should just skip reading it and go on with my life.

Jim Jordan is the most useless, grandstanding, controlled opposition eunuch in the country.
