Actor George Clooney called on Democrats to name a new nominee for the 2024 presidential election, claiming President Joe Biden “cannot win.”
Clooney made the call for a new candidate in an op-ed published in The New York Times Wednesday, noting that after co-hosting a Biden fundraiser less than two weeks before his disastrous debate last month, the largest fundraiser supporting any Democratic candidate to date, he feels the 81-year-old should step down.
“I love Joe Biden,” Clooney wrote. “As a senator. As a vice president and as president. I consider him a friend, and I believe in him. Believe in his character. Believe in his morals.”
Clooney continued: “But the one battle he cannot win is the fight against time. None of us can.”
“It’s devastating to say it, but the Joe Biden I was with three weeks ago at the fund-raiser was not the Joe “big F-ing deal” Biden of 2010,” he added. “He wasn’t even the Joe Biden of 2020. He was the same man we all witnessed at the debate.”
The “proud,” “lifelong Democrat” also said his “party leaders need to stop telling us that 51 million people didn’t see what we just saw.”

Yep. This makes him look like a loony. Weeks after writing big checks worth $38m, the holly old elites finally realize Biden is toast.

wonder if the dnc is refunding the donations clooney helped gather at the banquet.
His morals? This is the guy who is married to the woman with whom he was cheating on his first wife in the 70s. And she was cheating on her first husband with him. But none of these Hollywood bozos knows the first thing about morality. They just pass each other around like side dishes at Thanksgiving dinner.
And I love how this guy gets to call up the White House and talk to the president whenever he has something sticking in his craw badly enough that he feels compelled to take five minutes out of his pampered life to shoot off his mouth about things that don't affect him. He must have been trying to impress his wife with that stunt.
Of course he can! Just need even more cheating.
George Clooney most certainly DID NOT pen this op-ed without running it past Obama first. They're best buds.
So, George Clooney is telling Joe Biden to pack it in only because Obama gave Clooney the green light to do so.
