On Friday the group backing an abortion amendment in Arkansas submitted 101,525 petition signatures to place their measure on the November ballot.
The Arkansas Secretary of State will count and verify the signatures to ensure at least 91,704 of them came from registered voters before certifying the measure for the ballot.
Arkansans for Limited Government is the organization backing the abortion amendment. According to public documents, the group spent tens of thousands of dollars paying more than 150 petition canvassers to collect signatures across the state. However, pro-life volunteers have been active in communities all over Arkansas as well.
If passed, the Arkansas Abortion Amendment would prevent the State of Arkansas from restricting abortion during the first five months of pregnancy — which is more extreme than Roe v. Wade, and would allow thousands of elective abortions on healthy women and unborn children every year.
The amendment does not contain any medical licensing or health and safety standards for abortion, and it does not require abortions to be performed by a physician or in a licensed medical facility.
It automatically nullifies all state laws that conflict with the amendment, jeopardizing basic abortion regulations — like parental-consent and informed-consent requirements that both sides of the aisle have supported in the past.
The measure contains sweeping exceptions that would permit abortion through all nine months of pregnancy in many cases.
The amendment also would pave the way for publicly funded abortion in Arkansas by changing Amendment 68 to the Arkansas Constitution that currently prohibits taxpayer funded abortion in the state. Pro-lifers were present at the capitol on Friday when the abortion amendment campaign submitted its petitions.
Several groups are actively working against the abortion amendment as well, including:
Arkansas Right to Life
Family Council Action Committee
Choose Life Arkansas
NWA Coalition for Life
The Arkansas Committee For Ethics Policy
The Catholic Diocese of Little Rock
Saline Decline to Sign
Stronger Arkansas
Stop Abortion On Demand
Students for Life of America
This will turn out Kansas women voters in droves, and they won’t all be voting for Trump or other Republicans.
The demonic Culture of Death never rests. While the Republican Party platform has now officially thrown innocent unborn babies into the fires of Moloch in the name of political expediency, the demoncrats are redoubling their efforts at the state level and have every right to now expect little or no opposition by the traitorous right. We should be ashamed of ourselves.
Submitted by the notorious turncoat Jerry Cox of Family Council.
Jerry is a two-faced liar. He has on multiple occasions used his name and organization to block genuine pro-life/abolitionist legislation. We had a bill in the Arkansas legislature last year that would have added teeth to the anti-abortion laws already passed. Jery Cox was for it before he just suddenly switched sides and directly opposed it. He values $ over principal.
Now - this being said, the petition drive to get this amendment on the November ballot was the most disgusting, dishonest, and wicked petition drive I’ve ever seen in my 55 years of life. The lies told (despite the clear text of the petition)... the number of professed Christians who actively helped gather signatures and excitedly signed it...
If this gets passed by voters in November, I will be beyond angry - the effort is one of the best-funded I have ever seen in this state.
Kansas? Why would it turn out Kansas women voters... in ARKANSAS?
That remains to be seen. I wonder if the Duggars will get involved in this? They have been too quiet lately. If they wanted to be useful they could go against this, there is enough of them to get the word out to voters on it.
I don’t say that I or any other Republican or Conservative am/are
perfect. We are all flawed to some extent. What seems clear
to me though, is that the Left/Communists in the United States
are undeniably in full support of things I know to be evil and
could only be pushed into reality by a very dark force.
As a kid at 18 years of age, I could not in good conscience
register as a democrat. Since that time I have witness that
party sink into what any thinking person can only see
collectively as pure evil.
I shudder as I take note of the lost souls on the Left,
thinking they are taking the high ground.
One of us is in for a big surprise. Killing the unborn
with glee, it’s just not something God could possibly
look down on with favor.
Now, back to contemplating my own flaws.
Kansas 2022
I noticed that too. I am amazed at the seething energy of these people. They seem to be rabidly frothing at the mouth, to kill babies. I am sure it’s inspired by Satan himself.
If that’s what God decides, so be it. God comes before party.
It is not an "abortion" (this word covers up what it really is) measure.
It is not "reproductive care" either.
I would like to see more pro-life people call it what it actually is- a mother having her baby killed.
Not saying that this should be done with any sort of emotion or judgement.
But abortion must be defined as what it actually is, before discussing wether a woman has a "right" to it. A right to have her baby killed.
If the issue is presented this way, the reasons for people oppossing it become much clearer.
In looking at the reality of this issue- It does seem like women do want to be able to have their babies killed, at least in the early stage of pregnancy.
But, IMO, most people do not want a baby, in the last months of pregnancy, brutally butchered, (even at tax payer's expense) and the child's body parts sold for profit.
(As for me, I would like to see abortion become rare, because EVERYONE UNDERSTANDS CLEARLY, that it is killing a baby. Women would then "choose" adoption and let their child live.
And, better yet, we would also get to a time where both men and women would be more careful to not put themselves in situations where they end up having to deal with an unwanted pregnancy. 🙏)
My two cents.
Pray that this fails.
I wonder if you need the mother’s consent. Or the father’s permission.
It’s baby murder.
Even college drop outs know that some crimes against humanity must be federal. Who would return the following to the states: slavery, murder, rape.
There have been more approved legislation to murder babies, even after they are born, since the overturning of roe.
The chemical abortion pill is deadly… and not just to every baby.
The republicans have just lost the vote for people like me.
I personally saw the perfect 5 fingers, hand, forearm and elbow among the ground up baby in an abortion canister.
I walked off the job… a great job.
Everyone who is yes to a single abortion should have to go in the products of conception room… they should have to witness a dozen early abortions and a dozen skull crushing de-limbing later abortion.
This is the person we should always protect.
But for votes, the republicans have sacrificed them also.
A sickening darkness in exchange for power.

There will be a reckoning. The political abortion fight is lost. End of story. Pro life advocates must now change the battle from winning one politician at a time to saving one baby at a time. If there is to be any winnable political fight for pro lifers it should concentrate on providing better access to abortion alternatives and making sure mothers and their preborn babies have support to make the right choice.
Challenging the oft repeated lie that we only care about the mother and baby until birth is made difficult by the death lovers efforts to block information on available resources. That is something we can fight politically.
We have to face that women and men in this country view abortion as essential to their personal freedom. Turning the fight from the political to the personal is not ideal but if it means saving more lives it may be the better option.
The political battle has not ended and it is not lost, it has simply shifted to the states. Yes, we should ramp up our efforts to reach those personally affected by abortion but, as this article shows, the Left is bent on making it impossible even to offer these services. We are already seeing this in several states: the suppression of pro-life clinics and pregnancy counseling centers. They won't stop their demonic efforts until abortion is legally and sociologically unchallengeable everywhere in the land, federally, state by state, and locally.
I am rather glum right now. I wish I could capture the optimism of seeing a chance of winning the fight now that it has become a state’s issue. I agree wholeheartedly on how the Left is blocking even the simplest efforts to make life the right choice. They are demonic.
My lack of optimism is not just about people’s attitude about so called reproductive rights (vomit!) but about the amount of dollars the Left is willing and has spent on twisting this issue to one of personal freedom. The question for me then becomes where is money for prolife advancement made best use of?
It also alarms me that people are not (AFAIK) asking why so many large corporations are so gun-ho on abortion access. Or why so many Globalist entities wave the abortion flag. It sure as heck is not because they are pro woman. My theory is because destroying the family is essential to making people economic slaves.
Roe vs Wade was overturned and put back to let the states decide and people were fine with that. Now several states are making those decisions and the results are not as people in the pro life movement want. So now they complain.
There are elements on both sides of the issue that would like a Federal Law on this and they had 50 years to do one and neither party did it. So now sour grapes.
So either you are for Limited Government and States rights on issues that do not concern the Federal Government or you want the Federal Government to act. Which is it?
I didn't say I wanted the federal government to get involved. That has been made moot by the SCOTUS. What I said was that just because it is now a states issue, the political fight has not gone away, it has gone there.
