On his first day in office, newly elected Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer reportedly scrapped the plan to send illegal boat migrants to Rwanda rather than putting them up in hotels in Britain.
The scheme to send illegals to have their often spurious asylum claims in processing centres in the East African nation of Rwanda first put forward by ex-PM Boris Johnson in 2022 to deal with the migrant crisis in the English Channel has been abandoned by the left-wing Labour government on its first day, a party insider told The Telegraph.

I guess it depends on the contract you sign with the government. If the contract includes a high daily rate and full compensation for damaged rooms, you might come out ahead.
On the other hand, if the illegals just show up at your door with a voucher, you’re in for a bit of trouble.

I’m not well versed on UK politics. I did see a report that the conservatives made a mess. They were liberal-lite. The conservatives supported green nonsense among other things, while fixing nothing.
When empires crash, they crash hard.
Did anyone really believe he would send them back? Anyone, anyone?
There are no conservatives, there are no liberals, there’s only the wealthy.
And the wealthy are too out of touch with the common man to be involved in their governance.
