Singer-actress Bette Midler, star of Disney’s Hocus Pocus 2, suggested that President Joe Biden arrest Republican members of Congress and allow the FBI to use deadly force in order regain Democrat House majority.
“Now that Joe has total immunity, many are urging him to be GOP ruthless. Here’s a suggestion for implementing his new powers,” Midler wrote in a Friday X post, sharing a screenshot from an opinion piece published by The New Republic.

So I read the New Republic piece to which Bette Midler is referring. It’s your typical, ‘all bad deeds are now immune and legal’ tripe. It’s actually so stupid and bad, I expected the author to be some 20-something clown from the Ivy Leagues, or some such child. The author? None other than our old friend Sidney Blumenthal.
Funny enough, one thing Blumenthal never says during his fantasy of arresting and murdering Republicans is that all elections are cancelled. Not sure why. Go ahead, he openly speculates about murdering Trump, what’s a cancelled election? Maybe because he knows that if any of his nonsense were attempted, the American people would rise up and kick him and his Communist thugs so far out of office he wouldn’t know what hit him.
That’s what these Communists can’t stand; being judged by the American people. Not a bunch of liberal lawyers, nor 12 hand-picked people from a tiny, homogeneous jurisdiction. All the people. So I don’t know what Blumenthal is waiting for, if he actually believes his own garbage. Do it already. Monsters, or some such thing.
She sounds more senile than Biden. I would tell her to shut up and act but I think she’s too old and demented to play anything but a corpse. It’s refreshing to finally hear what these assholes really think.
