This is not to say that Stephanopoulos is some paragon of journalistic ethics.

Lol, the best part of the article.

15-20 minutes?

I hope that ABC edits the interview to make Brandon appear competent. I don’t want Brandon to drop out. Who knows how a last minute replacement (particularly a far left-wing hack like Harris) might encourage the democrat base to vote early and often. If Brandon stays in the race, a Republican sweep is far more likely.

“journalistic ethics”

That is an oxymoron if there ever was one.

Yes, Snuffleupagus is a biased, partisan Democratic operative. But the kicker here, at the moment, is that partisan Democratic operatives are NOT united in their support of the continuation of the Biden candidacy. Many of them want Biden out in favor of Kamala or someone else. We’ll see which team Snuffleupagus is on. If it’s a warm and fuzzy, softball interview, then we can assume S is on Team Save-Biden. If he shows Biden to be the dementia-addled old coot we all know him to be , then S was on Team Dump-Biden.

I’m with you on this. Right now we have to hope that Stephanopoulos the sycophant will “save Democracy.” :)

“ 15-20 minutes?

More like that’s all that they could resurrect from a one hour or even multiple interview. Part of that 15 to 20 minutes will be Stephanopoulos sychophant questions to Biden.

We will know when we see it if its intent is to keep Biden or to get rid of Biden. I think Republicans win either way because Biden or Kamala will be the easiest Dems to defeat in November.

When Biden says “convicted felon” Stinkitupoulous should say: “For cases that will be overturned.”

Anything else is perpetuating the lie.

Biden will have an adoring audience in Madison. That may juice up his ego and provide momentum for the Big Interview. I’ll bet he speaks LOUDLY in both. REAL LOUDLY.

A “no win” for Biden?
You mean like the 2020 election? He was placed into the office, but he didn’t win.

Stephanopoulos may be more loyal to the media than to the party.

One's loyalty to corporate media is synonymous with loyalty to the democrat party - IMHO.

the interview will prove nothing

Because as anyone who has ever been around a dementia patent knows, they have good days and bad days.

I’d say there is a 50/50 chance of Biden having a bad day at any given moment at his current stage of dementia. So even if he has a good interview, it doesn’t disprove that he has dementia, it only proves he was having a good day.

And since they could always cancel or reschedule if they KNOW ahead of time he is having a bad day, the odds go WAY up that Biden will come across as ok, otherwise they would of cancelled (which they couldn’t do with the debate)
