Democrats have a ready-made replacement if Joe Biden stands aside before November's election. She’s been vetted. Her election would be historic. And she would easily take up the Biden mantle.
There's one problem: Her name is Kamala Harris and by every measure she is the most unpopular vice president in American history – and among the least likely people to defeat Donald Trump in a general election fight. But Democrats may be stuck with her anyway.
'Kamala Harris has a high name ID, which means her brand is harder to change,' said pollster James Johnson, who conducted the Mail survey. 'Unlike other candidates who are a blank slate to voters and can more easily define themselves, Harris brings a lot of baggage.'
A comedian on Democrat-friendly 'The Daily Show' lampooned her distinctive style as 'speaking without thinking'.
Early on in the Biden administration, the president tasked Harris with addressing the burgeoning illegal immigration crisis. Three months later, when pressed by NBC News's Lester Holt on why she hadn't even visited the southern border, Harris strangely insisted that she had. ‘We've been to the border,' she claimed. ‘You haven't been to the border,' Holt said. ‘And I haven't been to Europe,' Harris shot back with an awkward laugh. 'I mean, I don't understand the point that you're making.'
For the next year, Harris avoided sit-down interviews. And even Biden described his VP as a 'work in progress.

Well, you can count on one thing, the DNC, Deep State, MSM, etc. are all working and coordinating feverishly to cast blame for the Biden catastrophe on everyone but themselves. Instead of working with Trump in his first administration and then doing the same in his 2nd (for the good of the country), the Deep State decided on a high risk strategy of stealing the election, nominating & electing 2 horrible candidates, and then going full bore on the Obama “Destroy America” policies. The Deep State has had lots of practice at avoiding any negative consequences for their various nefarious actions over the years. It will be really interesting to see how they intend to pull a gold bar out of this sewer they created.
