Democrat ambulance chasers have set the precedent for billion dollar libel settlements.
What's good for the goose.

Well, walking on eggshells is only a problem for conservatives and some GOP politicians. Good luck trying to have a libel suit against a DEM in a blue city. The jury pools there are heavily tainted.

The Trump campaign should make a list of all the media outlets and personalities who labeled him as convicted felon.
When the list is complete, drop the lawsuits for libel, defamation, and whatever else. Sue the BASTARDS!
To: E. Pluribus Unum
Well now it’s a given that Merchan will sentence Trump to hard time.

How does sentencing realize the conviction? And how can one be sentenced without being convicted?

I don’t understand the gag order...from when it was first handed out.
To: Gene Eric
He explained it. Maybe he should have slowed down?

Just make a list of these people who may be subject to being sued, post it and keep it up to date. Give them something to think about.

The article refers to what Kirk said, not Scharf’s apparently speedy explanation.

So, Brandon isn’t sitting next to a felon. Yet.

Oh, c’mon, where have you been living? Media aresholes quit being careful of words years ago.
But, then, there are those with enough money toactually pursue a lawsuit.

If he was convicted using evidence that SCOTUS now says is inadmissible, a mistrial is a possibility.

Why is the gag order still valid? Legal precedent please.

That would be amazing, but I don’t give Merchan credit for paying attention to rules.

Until sentencing occurs, in theory the judge can set aside the jury verdict. That’s the theory.

Seems to me that when a jury convicts someone, they’re convicted.
