FUN FACT: George Clooney is not a hero for admitting that Biden was cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs at a Fundraiser THREE weeks ago. He’s a scumbag for imperiling our country and trying to hide it from the world until he no longer could.
I am currently "down" in the big city (Free Republic's home base) after working for 55 consecutive days (630am to 10pm) "up" in the big mountains at a resort situated on an exquisite alpine lake, nestled high in the Sierra NF, surrounded on all sides by three designated wilderness areas. (Kaiser, John Muir, & Ansel Adams Wilderness Areas)
One of my favorite tasks in my official duties is to ferry weary hikers across a gorgeous lake, using a water taxi, saving the grateful backpackers 5 miles of hiking and delivering them to a resort that delivers wilderness hospitality to each of the back country users. To date, over 1,100 passengers have made the unique water journey, some coming from as far away as the US-MX border, starting their foot path 900 miles to the south.
As always... WOOT! WOOT! Good vibes and life is good!

We indeed need that new two-level dining car. Between the breakfast from lysie, high tea, and nightly desserts, the kitchen’s getting a little busy!

Now I have a little tuxedo kitten in my bathroom. Maybe 6 weeks old. A friend called to tell me in front of their house there was a kitten that was run over and another one sitting by it. Her husband refused to stop. So she expected me to get it. How could I say no? But now I’m really hoping they’ll take it in, I don’t need to deal with another one.
The poor little angel was sitting next to his sibling, who was steadil quite some time as it was already stiff. He let me walk right up to him and pick him up. Still in shock. I bet people just dropped them off there this morning and they were waiting for them to come back. I hate these Deliverance types.

Well my daughter and SIL say Proby has gone from sweetness to bossing everyone, cats and humans.
I am holed up in my hotel room for one full day of rest and relaxation, before I tackle a plethora of tasks from a long list of things to do, on another of my "working" days off.
Here I am standing on the "back" dock at Mono Creek, which is a primary source of water that fills Edison Lake, as hikers disembark the water taxi and begin another leg of their backpacking journey. Some of the hikers are on a 2,650 mile hike from Mexico to Canada, putting one foot in front of the other on the National Scenic Pacific Crest Trail, or the 221 mile John Muir Trail, which connects Yosemite National Park, and Mt. Whitney, that is the highest mountain peak (14,508') in the lower 48 states.

I did get some lil soups to take him. My daughter wouldn’t be buying them as she also has 3 cats of her own to feed.
Well my muscles are shot so it will take time to get back k to normal. But I’m doing pretty good.
I miss all of you too but take great pleasure in reuniting with the lot of you from time to time on the steel rails that carry the Trump Family Train at breakneck speeds... without - any - brakes!
