Democrat donors and insiders are growing furious that First Lady Jill Biden won't advise her husband to drop out of the race.
In recent days after President Joe Biden's disastrous debate performance, it seems the person pushing most for him to continue running is his wife.
A chorus of Democrats are openly calling for the presumed Democratic nominee to be replace after stumbling over his words and losing his train of thought multiple times during his Thurday's night debate with Donald Trump.
But Jill, 73, is insistent that President Biden, 81, continue running for reelection, according to hedge fund manager and market expert Dougie Kass.
And Biden is set to discuss the future of his re-election campaign on Sunday with his family at Camp David, NBC News first reported Saturday night.
A person familiar with the matter told the network Biden will only listen to his wife of almost 50 years.
'The only person who has ultimate influence with him is the first lady,' they said. 'If she decides there should be a change of course, there will be a change of course.'

It is regrettable when an adult like Biden doesn’t have enough sense to realize his shortcomings which only keep on growing as time marches on when he easily just could slip out and call it a day and enjoy the few precious years he may have left. On top of it being lucky to have enough wealth to enjoy a place in the sun and not having to worry. Too bad he has a wife who apparently doesn’t have any sense either otherwise she would tell him “Come on honey give it a break and let’s enjoy the precious few years we have left” It is just sad to see someone making a fool of himself while not recognizing his shortcomings and failures but apparently that was one of his problems all along, always being a mediocre politician at best.
Like his 2020 campaign, the Bidens hide so they don’t have to answer any questions.

Biden will release his delegates next week in order for the pigs to have time to fight through the trough, all the back stabbing to take place, a winner will emerge and the nastiness will be forgotten by August.

I use to get a kick out of watching her give a speech. She would stand before the microphones, pause, as if to say, “It’s okay. Let not your heart be troubled. I’m here.”

Of course. I have long argued on the side of the Constitution with regard to what constitutes a "natural born citizen". My position is very strict on that topic.
My saying it doesn't matter is PRACTICAL, not legal or ethical or constitutional. The point is, it will be ignored, just as it was in the past.
I note you are relatively new here (2020), well after the Obama terms. The question of what constitutes a "natural born citizen" was raised and argued for YEARS before and after 2008 without effect:

Actually, she already IS the first woman President, and she loves it. She manipulates Joe while she 's being manipulated by the Obama cabal. Everyone benefits except the American public.

We HAVE an "amended" Birth Certificate for Kamala Harris, which has "revised name" fraud inked on it, which can be seen by anyone who looks at it.
It only awaits the political will, for Congress to enforce the matter, and Speaker Johnson would have the motive (if he chooses to exercise it).
The alternative, would be the prospect of Acting President Kamala as Commander-In-Chief, ordering our DEI/LGBTQ troops into battle in Ukraine/Taiwan/Lebanon/Yemen/Iran (or possibly all of these areas), while also defending our infrastructure from attack by any of 8-10 million recent immigrants.
Does that scenario represent sufficient motive to act?
For you, me, and other FReepers, undoubtedly. TPTB, eh, not so much.
No amount of us screaming bloody murder about it, or presenting documentation, or even filing suits, will be effective to stop the Kamalala-for-Pres juggernaut if it gets rolling. If that's what TPTB choose, they will steamroller all else.
My personal hope (and belief at present) is that Joe stays on the ticket, with Kamalala as VP, and is unequivocally defeated in the election, beyond all question. Kamalala will disappear into the historical archives as the first female VP, and that will be that.
