Democrat donors and insiders are growing furious that First Lady Jill Biden won't advise her husband to drop out of the race.
In recent days after President Joe Biden's disastrous debate performance, it seems the person pushing most for him to continue running is his wife.
A chorus of Democrats are openly calling for the presumed Democratic nominee to be replace after stumbling over his words and losing his train of thought multiple times during his Thurday's night debate with Donald Trump.
But Jill, 73, is insistent that President Biden, 81, continue running for reelection, according to hedge fund manager and market expert Dougie Kass.
And Biden is set to discuss the future of his re-election campaign on Sunday with his family at Camp David, NBC News first reported Saturday night.
A person familiar with the matter told the network Biden will only listen to his wife of almost 50 years.
'The only person who has ultimate influence with him is the first lady,' they said. 'If she decides there should be a change of course, there will be a change of course.'

> To make the 25th work Kamala would have to convince the cabinet to declare Biden incompetent. <
Kamala is too weak and stupid to do that on her own. But the panicked Democrat party bosses, they could give the cabinet members a little talking to. Especially if Joe publicly gets worse.
It’s going to be an interesting summer.
Is anyone who has an inkling of who Jill Biden is surprised by her stance? I doubt it...
The entire Deep State is on the hook for elder abuse from the beginning of Biden’s bid.
They’re just pinning it on Jill now to pressure her to cave.
Will stiletto Jill fold?
My guess is yet for a steep price.
On the other hand, Jill’s lovers are known by the deep state and ready for exposure.
If it comes down to those two breakfast tacos, the winner will be the one who has the most dirt on the congresscritters. I think Jill wins that fight after 50 years in DC. Kamala just knows the size of the junk to get where she was.
Indeed
I don't think so. She's knows exactly what she's doing: trying to preserve her position of power and lifestyle.
The 25th is not a magic wand to remove Biden. If he doesn’t want to go, it is actually easier to impeach and remove him than it is to remove him via the 25th.
Jo thinks he 71 ..so it’s okay
Yeah, and guess who’s next (the plant).
She can still be demented.
Now this is a “replacement theory” I can get behind
She has to do all his public speaking for him now. How embarrassing.
The point is, anyone who views the evidence will conclude, Kamala is simply legally ineligible to hold her office (or the Presidency).
Watching her talk to him is embarrassing. When she was telling how good a job he did, that he “answered all the questions!” If I talked to my 8-year old granddaughter like that, she would be insulted. She would tell me, “Popo, I’m not a baby!”
I rather suspect soon we will get the news Plugs Biden has met his end in his sleep in the next days and weeks.
paging Mrs Wilson.
Yes, it’s odd. As you noted, it’s actually more difficult and complicated to remove a president by the 25A than by impeachment.
But the 25A does have one advantage. It can *temporarily* remove a president rather quickly. If the VP and a majority of the cabinet agree, the president is out and the VP is the acting president. Congress isn’t even involved.
But to keep the president out, that’s when it gets messy. And then Congress is involved.

Good job Joe you answered all those questions
Hopefully weeks 👺
