EXCLUSIVE Could Kamala become president? As calls for Biden to step aside swirl after debate calamity, Democratic insiders hint that Harris could be even WORSE
Daily Mail ^ | 6/28/24 | Charlie Spiering

Vice President Kamala Harris has never been closer to the presidency after Joe Biden’s disastrous debate performance sent Democratic elites into a tailspin about their chances in the 2024 election.

As the vice president of the United States, Harris is the natural successor of the presidency if Biden steps down. But for years, Democrats have criticized Harris’ performance and feel she should not take over for Biden before the election.

One well-connected Democrat told DailyMail.com after the debate that the choice was between an ‘obviously broken Biden’ or Harris, describing the vice president as ‘extremely disliked’ and a ‘terrible’ politician.

‘I think I’d have a better shot with Biden,’ he said.

One Washington, DC political operative described to DailyMail.com the mood of Democrats on Friday morning.

‘Everybody’s going to try to resurrect Joe Biden today, but after that debate performance, Jesus Christ couldn’t be resurrected,’ he said.

He described the 'Kamala conundrum' as a result of Biden and Democrats playing the 'dangerous game' of identity politics to boost their numbers with the black community.

'She could be great for the base right?' he said. 'But you still need independent voters who just don't have confidence in her.'

Other Democrats conceded that Biden did not have a good night, but the party is not ready to replace him with Harris.

Sure the DNC can do that.

What they can’t do then is spend any of the campaign cash raised thus far or get on the ballot in Wisconsin, Nevada or Georgia.

Only way Harris doesn’t replace Biden is if Harris resigns before Biden, which isn’t going to happen.

If Kamala does get installed via the 25th, we will see this in her motorcade for 7 months:

Whitmer sent an advance team few weeks ago to DC as a possible candidate. This would be a nightmare. She will bring our SOS and AG with her. They are all radical supporters of abortion, LGBTQ and trans.

Heels Up Harris represents how women succeed into positions of power in the “progressive” Rat Party. Everyone knows what her deal is, and how she got where she is, and its not competence.

It’s all up to serious (/s) people in the Cabinet — such as Blinken, Granholm, Mayorkas and Buttigieg — to gang up and notify Congress that the president is incapable of performing his duties.
That’s if they do it by the book.
These are Democrats, so who knows.

The Dems can replace Biden after convention per the rules. If he resigns before convention he loses his campaign funds.

They are looking at Whitmer, Gov of Michigan. God help us if she is the nominee.

Yes there is, our Michigan Governor Whitmer. She sent an advance team to DC few weeks ago as possible replacement. She would bring her radical agenda and her SOS AND AG with her.

The 25th amendment has buried deep within it a hidden assumption—the competency of the Vice President.

Oops.

If the cabinet senses that Biden will lose in November AND they are in danger of criminal prosecution without a pardon, they will axe Biden with the 25th Amendment. Removing Biden's powers this way makes it less likely Hunter, Jill, James and company will get presidential pardons after the election.

But no. She is not worse than Brandon. She knows what she’s doing. He’s a witless tool of unseen forces that can only be guessed it.

Neither she nor Obama were related to any descendants of black slaves in the USA. They are stupid enough to just look at the dark skin shade and not their ancestry.

That's what I've been saying. I'm still waiting on my first African-American President.

Obama was a Kenyan-American so he did not count.

Like you said, Obama was not influenced by the legacy of slavery in the United States.

She might even have a conscience. A badly crippled conscience that only will stop at mass murder. But could be.

Chlamydia Harris and her word salads are infamous.
The media would paint her as a genius speaker any chance they got.

Kamala’s instinctive outbursts of laughter are defensive. She has nothing intelligent to say so she seeks cover with her hyena-like inappropriate laughter.

In a similar vein Hillary’s cackle is dismissive. Its how she belittles others and defuses criticism.

Likewise whenever Biden laughs and flashes his Chesire Cat like grin. It too is dismissive and belittling.

None of the three have any warmth or any sense of genuine laughter.

“I think the Dems will let Trump win this one so they can clear the slate of Biden and Harris, concentrate on 2028 with a new slate of lefties.”

*************

Good possibility. They could simply sit it out and regroup over the next three years. To be sure, Dems have a hot mess on their hands right now that might take a couple of years to wash out. In the meantime, they will continue their jihad against Trump with their endless gaslighting, obstruction and lawfare.

Right now, the thing they have to really worry about the appeal of Trump’s VP pick and ability to carry MAGA forward after he’s termed out.

The Indo/Jamaican would be the final nail in the coffin. She is not an American and she don’t think like an American.
