Thursday night’s debate was one for the history books—more epic than many of us expected. President Trump delivered an outstanding performance, while Joe Biden barely limped through. It was a long, bumbling night for Biden, who shuffled off the stage with Dr. Jill’s help, securing his spot in the history books for one of the worst debate performances ever.

Actually, Biden’s debate performance was so abysmally awful that it triggered a collective meltdown in the media. Many Dem loyalists even called for Joe to step down. Instantly, theories sprouted up about a “coup” in the works to replace Joe Biden with Gavin Newsom.

Having her as the nominee would be even worse than Biden for the Democrats.

2nd debate (if one occurs with Joe) is 10 Sep (about 3 weeks after the Convention).
I think the original plan was that they’d dump VP Harris at the Convention and haul in Gov Newsom as the new VP candidate (getting a tremendous amount of criticism but impressing people with a better replacement in 2025 for Joe)....if he were to win and suddenly retire six months later.
Presently? Someone on the staff needs to do the 25th Amendment trick and say he’s not up to the job...brining Harris in ASAP (anyone’s guess who’d select as her VP, but it won’t be Newsom).
Between now and 19 August (the Convention)...expect Newsom to be interviewed several times a day and Joe to act like he’s still in the race.

All you have to do is point at San Francisco and Los Angeles and their relevant images and you show the country why he's not the best choice. He has nothing positive to run with.
She should be the nominee. If she is good enough to be “one heartbeat away” she should be good enough to head the ticket.

If Joe Drops out people should demand he resign from office. That will make it harder for them to snub the current President Kamala. Plus she’ll get a taste of power and want to keep it.
Interesting thread on my NextDoor site this morning. It evolved into how well Newsom was doing for California. Last I saw on thread Newsom was taking a beating and not one person spoke up for him. He has a lot of baggage that Trump can go after him on if he is indeed the nominee to replace Biden.
You can bet the farm on this: The rats had a June debate in case Traitor Joe crashed the way he did. That would give them just enough time to make a move. They knew what they were going to do if this happened. Everything these evil bastards do is planned. We don’t know Whether they will dump Biden or not but know and have known for weeks.
The factions will never permit Kamala Harris to be nominated for President. She was a bad hire as Vice President, too stupid and bad-tempered to follow directions. The faction that sponsored her is now completely discredited. They will replace Biden and Harris. If they believe they need a Black woman, they will select one.
Biden will be easy. He will step down for "reasons of health". That won't even be a lie. Harris will be more difficult. It should make for an interesting episode of the "Our Democracy"(tm) show.
Laws and rules and deadlines for the candidates mean nothing. That will be fixed by the sponsors.
Yup. I think they keep their powder dry until 2028, re: serious candidates. I can see the next 4 1/2 years being unsettled, in many regards. Get the illegals settled in, some cities on fire, Trump dealing with a hundred crises....then strike in 2028, blaming all on Republicans. .

If Brandon says he is capable, and you already can see that he would say that, then Congress has to meet and vote on the matter. It takes a 2/3rds majority of each House to vote to remove him. How do you think that vote would go? Think of all the heads subject to rolling on the line!

They tried with the DeSantis-Newsome “debate” - did not work AT ALL!
DeSantis may have been a willing participant to divide the dems for Trump in the guise of himself, and definitely helpe remove Haley from consideration for Anything!!
We need to talk about power. The nature of power is power. It is power to be used to do what power lets you do and so we all need to think about how to do what we want to do using power. It isn’t about power to do because if you don’t keep power power cannot be used to do things so the first thing we need to think about when we are thinking about power is what we need to do keep power so we can keep doing the things we need to do which starts with keeping power so we can do thing things we need to do like keeping power including the power to keep power.
