Unfortunately, that summed it up. Perfectly.
Sadly. but perfectly.

Maybe she could run into a football team. Or a 75-member marching band.
Better yet, perhaps an aircraft carrier returning from a 6-month deployment with like, 5,000 guys on board.
The entire article is filled with this empty, saccharine, made-up psychobabble.
In that case it wouldn’t necessarily be a jumping out of the frying pan and into the fire.
Agree to many consider marriage and shacking up the same.
It’s a way out for those who can’t or won’t commit to marriage.
so the problem is the woman cheating. IF her hubby had a side piece you’d be ok with that?

I don’t know how you got THAT from my post.....
If you clicked on the link then you’d know that it was HER comment and all I was addressing was her comment
all those extra guys are yer uncles,,,
1. Create an Adultery Pride flag and hang it proudly at your house. Why hide your adultery in the closet? Adultery is, after all, a legitimate and wholesome way of living. It should be celebrated, not hidden or stigmatized.
2. Hold fun activities with your children, such as asking them their preference in adultery partners. Children need to know that Mommy and Daddy sleeping around with other people is actually a bonding experience for the whole family. Nothing says emotional security for your children like breaking your marriage vows.
3. Rage against all those who bring up that "Thou shalt not commit adultery" stuff. Call them bigots and adulteryphobes. God doesn't know what He's talking about, anyway. We're in the enlightened 21st century and have no use for silly ideas like staying faithful to your spouse. Being a faithful and loving spouse? That's crazy talk!
4. Have the activists disguised as school teachers put the Adultery Pride flag in their classrooms and talk to their students about the joys of cheating on their spouses when they become adults. "Everyone is doing it!"
5. Hold Adultery Pride parades. Be sure to invite children to attend.
Do these five easy steps, and you can be sure your children will be well-adjusted and secure in their lives while you and your spouse are out on the prowl for hookups.
The above is extreme sarcasm, of course.
Two people celebrating their groins as their god will not love the other, only demand, seek elsewhere, the pinch of incense to their god on their terms.
Only God is the god in a perfect marriage as God designed it entirely possible for each of us in reality.
Exactly
Yes
They could tell their children, “Look, I am fond of you, but spicing up my sex life is more important to me. Sorry, I had to break your heart and ruin your life, but it really is all about me.”
Yeah, pretty much.
They have now.
Child: Who is that?
Mommy: That is er... your ‘uncle’ Bob. He is staying over for a sleepover.
Child: Who are the other men that show up here?
Mommy: You have many uncles dear, now go to bed. I am going to bed myself.
Child: Thinking silently “mommy sure likes sleepovers”.
