Former President Barack Obama admitted that Joe Biden’s debate performance Thursday night was “bad” — but still urged voters to back his former veep over Donald Trump.
“Bad debate nights happen. Trust me, I know,” Obama, 62, wrote on X Friday afternoon.
“But this election is still a choice between someone who has fought for ordinary folks his entire life and someone who only cares about himself,” Obama insisted.
“Between someone who tells the truth; who knows right from wrong and will give it to the American people straight — and someone who lies through his teeth for his own benefit.
“Last night didn’t change that, and it’s why so much is at stake in November.”

The funny thing is, Obama is describing Trump, who is the good, upstanding person, and describing Biden who is the selfish, lying criminal that he’s always been.
Barack Hussein Obama was uncommonly perceptive in describing the attributes of each of the candidates.
But he purposely misapplied the labels. “Someone who has fought for ordinary folks” clearly describes Trump, and “someone who cares only about himself” has pictured Biden just about exactly.
Again, Obama was right in another respect. Last night didn’t change that.
Something seems fake about all of this. Possibilities: they know exactly how to steal the election so none of the debate fallout matters. Or...They’re setting up September’s debate as Joe’s big comeback. Or...Joe really is digging in his heels and they’re stuck with him but trying to subtly get him out.
Means Kamala refused the initial offer. Add another zero before the decimal point and see if she changes her mind.
