I cannot recall a similarly political earthquake as tonight’s debate. Maybe Thomas Eagleton in 1972?

By the time that Eagjeton happened, McGovern was already well beaten…and had no chance. This was the worst political performance since the kid said “the Emperor has no clothes.”
Trump was flawless in letting his enemy destroy himself…and zipped in a fair number of zingers while he was at it.

I cannot recall a similarly political earthquake as tonight’s debate.
LBJ announced he would not seek re-election on March 31st, five months before the 1968 Demorat convention. He then just finished his term.
FJB has two months before the convention.

Ted Kennedy unable to answer the question about why he wanted to be President from Roger Mudd on CBS.

Gary Hart womanizing seemed a big deal when it happened, but he wasn’t a nominee like Eagleton. The issue they may have now is say they replace Joe. The replacement might be stuck with their crazy leftist political direction given how the Biden Regime had been controlled by lunatic ideas. Would a replacement get enough leftist support from replacent being his own “man?”
