Millions just witnessed the end of a presidency live on television.
Joe Biden’s performance during the debate was embarrassing.
Whenever CNN put him up on the split screen, he had a thousand-yard stare.
He didn’t look old.
He looked ancient.
He looked empty.
But at least he wasn’t speaking.
Because when it was his time to answer, Biden was incoherent.
He said he “beat Medicaid.”
Asked about abortion, he randomly started talking about migrant crime.
“I really don’t know what he said at the end of that sentence,” former President Trump noted at one point, “and I don’t think he knows what he said either.”
At one point Biden just froze.
The administration can’t say it’s a “cheap fake” — everyone saw it happen.

Biden can’t survive this.
It is political malpractice to let him continue to run for re-election.
It is national malpractice to let him continue.
Biden spent an entire week preparing for this debate, and this is the best he could do.
That should terrify everyone.

I think saying that our votes don’t count or don’t matter etc is a big discouragement and the reason many conservatives don’t bother.
Obviously there can be and sometimes is fraud but the solution is not to stop voting. Glad you do but just saying, statements like that do keep some from the polls.

I don’t have anything against a Hindu being president, as long as they’re hardcore MAGA, like Vivek.
But America is still a predominantly Christian country and not ready for a Hindu president. What’s worse is that it would pave the way for a Muslim president, which I don’t think the country would accept, not ever (except we had Obama already, didn’t we).

the thing i don’t understand is that his handlers HAD to know that this was going to happen and yet they let it happen ... biden would have been infinitely better off to call off the debate, and i fully expected that to happen ... the only thing that i can think of is that Dr. Jill has been the main force obstructing Biden from bowing out, and the handlers knew a Biden’s guaranteed self-destruction on live TV for 90 minute in front of the entire world would force Dr. Jill’s hand ...
I also believe Dr Jill is the driving force behind him still in the race.

One of my elderly grandmothers had three separate incidents where she struck pedestrians (fortunately just minor injuries) before her driver’s license was taken from her.

I almost wish he would have been moved by sympathy to sincerely ask everyone, after Bidens first awful inchoerent answers, to stop putting Joe through this, to end the debate, everyone sees whats going on, to end it now, to not strip Joe of all his dignity, to not shame the office of the Presidency like this, to not show a US President like this,
And he would have walked over to Joe and said some kind words off mic like its ok, its over, you’re not up for this, we don’t have to keep going, etc,
I think that would have even been better than the zingers.
His eyes are devoid of soul and he never blinks. There’s someone or something there under that transplanted hair, but what is it? Even a suspected communication device inserted under the skin behind his ear couldn’t help him be coherent. Poor old fella. Jill, take him home.
