President Joe Biden was supposed to put the nation’s mind at ease over his physical and mental capacity with his debate showing Thursday night.
But from the onset of the debate, the 81-year-old seemingly struggled even to talk, mostly summoning a weak, raspy voice. In the opening minutes, the president repeatedly tripped over his words, misspoke and lost his train of thought.
In one of the most notable moments, Biden ended a rambling statement that lacked focus by saying, “We finally beat Medicare,” before moderators cut him off and transitioned back to Trump.

Trump also pounced on Biden, saying at one point that he didn’t understand what Biden had just said with regard to the border.
“I don’t know if he knows what he said either,” Trump said.
Nearly an hour into the debate, a Biden aide and others familiar with his situation offered up an explanation for the president’s hoarseness: He has a cold.
But there were problems aside from the shakiness of Biden's voice. When he wasn't talking, he often stared off into the distance. Trump frequently steamrolled over Biden, accusing him of being a criminal and for peddling misinformation — many times without a response from Biden, though the president did fire back with a handful of one-liners throughout.

Instead of a new beginning, many Democrats saw it as a moment for panic.
“Democrats just committed collective suicide,” said one party strategist who has worked on presidential campaigns. “Biden sounds hoarse, looks tired and is babbling. He is reaffirming everything voters already perceived. President Biden can’t win. This debate is a nail in the political coffin.“
“It’s hard to argue that we shouldn’t nominate someone else,” a Democratic consultant who works on down-ballot races added.

I think the country can survive Kamala for 130 days. Scary thought. It would make her impossible for Democrats to pass her up as nominee. Imagine in November choice between Trump and Harris.

His handlers and the powers that be know all about Joe’s problems so what happened tonight was no surprise to them. That means they planned this and because they planned this, they have some kind of “solution” we will be seeing soon.
I don’t think Trump was surprised either and because of that may have held back a little.

There will be a little talk soon and Joe and Jill will be reminded of this. Joe and Jill can enjoy a fabulous retirement or their family’s secret wrongdoings can be put into the public and court records.
If the democrat leadership wants them gone, they will be.
And they do want them gone.
RFK jr will get millions more votes after tonight. He may be the big winner tonight.
I was gonna say the same thing. He disappeared from public view for the better part of a week, may be a bit longer to prepare him, and this is the best they could do.
I’ll accept voice being a bit hoarse due to a cold as that as human nature in those situations. However, looking at the totality of what he said tonight, in the past, it doesn’t fly as an excuse anymore.
Do I agree he should resign, yes. Do I think he will. Absolutely not, Dr. Jill won’t let him.
Well, at least the Wisconsin vote is safe in Dem. hands!

The more I think about it, the more I think Biden may have pneumonia. A cold can knock out an 81 year old, it’s true, but he really looked poorly.
He spent the last week in quarantine with his handlers, preparing talking points, holding mock debates, practicing one-liners and zingers, etc. and demanding ice cream. Of course his voice is gravelly!

That’s what thought was a strong possibility back when Democrats requested the debates - Biden fails badly and they have their excuse to replace him.
As I have repeatedly said, Biden will be replaced and the replacement will win.
The question is whether she also retains the office of Vice President while serving as Acting President. I would think so. This is an important distinction.
If Biden resigns and Harris becomes President, the VP slot becomes vacant until she nominates a replacement and both chambers of Congress confirm the nominee. I can see Republicans in the House rejecting her nominees to keep the office vacant until the end of her term. This serves two purposes:

CNN got exactly what they wanted. Their masters said that Biden needs to lose so they can replace him and CNN was the one who pulled the trigger. We all assumed incorrectly that CNN was setting up Trump for failure. They were actually setting Biden up for failure.
Democrats are cynical and dishonest, but they are not stupid. Trump and his supporters must still go full speed ahead if they want to win in November.

Burden is clearly not capable of his Presidential duties, this has been obvious for some time.
The question becomes who is responsible for the disastrous decisions and executive orders .
America needs to replace burden today.
