If CSPAN just passes along the censored CNN feed, we will at last have to admit we have lost not just this battle, but the war for news integrity in its entirety. CSPAN was our last outpost of supposed neutrality.
OTOH I have not seen mention of this delay anywhere on the internet except the X/Tweet that started this thread. Do we know this isn't fake news?

They have no access to the site.
You can’t cover something if you are not even allowed in the room.
That is like blaming CSPAN for not covering the Congressional Subcommittee classified sessions.
The way CNN is, unless I had multiple sets running simultaneously, I wouldn't take the chance of finding out too late that CNN was messing with their broadcast.
We are waiting for confirmation on whether this is true or not—we should know for sure soon enough...
If the delay is true, I don’t see how CSPAN has any choice. CNN is calling the shots.
It seems a sign of Biden’s and his administration’s weakness that any suggestion of a debate under fair terms would have been rejected by them. I doubt there will be another debate after this, no matter how tonight goes. Trump won’t agree to another one of these, and Biden can’t stand up to a real, fair debate.
If Trump complains about any of CNN’s manipulative shenanigans they and their allies on the Left will say he’s making excuses for his performance.
