Isn’t General Juan José Zúñiga also known as Bolivia Newton John?

Not really relevant to today's news, but I always enjoy seeing the Dead Che gif. Captured and killed by Bolivians.

He’s a Bolivian general, not an American general.

So far all I can find is tanks moving into the capital. Which is a bit unusual, to be sure. We should send Merrick Garland down to investigate.

Current prez is a socialist who has been in office since 2020 and was big on the jabs.

The environmental degradation from lithium mines is horrible in developing countries.

Their possible deaths plus them getting Che taught me an important life lesson. Never mess with the Bolivian Army.

Goes without saying. When bin Laden said “When people see a strong horse and a weak horse, by nature they will like the strong horse”, he was simultaneously expressing the hope that his raid on 9/11 would draw followers and making the cynical observation that causes are horses opportunists ride to get ahead. Christian warriors flocked to Muhammad’s armies once he started to win. And Muslim warriors joined el Cid’s forces once he got on a winning streak.

The environmental degradation from lithium mines is horrible in developing countries. Yeah, Right.
Environmental degradation from mines goes away in a few decades. The world is physically changing all the time.
Consider the environmental degradation from volcanic eruptions. It makes environmental degradation from mining look like a minuscule effect.
Many of the environmental effects of mines are arguably beneficial.

It’s been awhile since Bolivia had a coup. It used to happen all the time.
