Yeah, Right.

Environmental degradation from mines goes away in a few decades. The world is physically changing all the time.

Consider the environmental degradation from volcanic eruptions. It makes environmental degradation from mining look like a minuscule effect.

Many of the environmental effects of mines are arguably beneficial.

If it gets in the water supply people may stop lying, stealing and blaming others for their self-inflicted problems. They may even go to work, build a home and take care of their family. AKA a “Right-wing extremist”.
