the Trump Campaign is hosting a roundtable with Black business leaders and members of Congress this afternoon to discuss how Biden has “left Black Americans behind, burdened with higher prices and lower wages.”

Also to be discussed is the President’s “No Tax on Tips” policy, President Trump’s past investments in Opportunity Zones and Historically Black Colleges and Universities with the First Step Act, and Biden’s prioritization of illegal aliens over Black Americans which has led to high crime and drug overdose rates.

Dr. Ben Carson, a name on Trump’s VP shortlist, is also listed as a participant. The roundtable is moderated by Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL).

The roundtable event in Atlanta comes the day before the first 2024 Presidential Debate, also in Atlanta.

Announcement from the Trump campaign:

The Trump Campaign is Set to host a Black American Business Leaders Barbershop Roundtable in Atlanta, Georgia on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at 1:00PM EDT. The discussion will include President Trump’s new “No Tax on Tips” policy where our great hospitality workers will no longer be taxed on their hard earned tips and keep more money in their pockets.

Joe Biden’s failed economy has left Black Americans behind, burdened with higher prices and lower wages. Bidenflation is disproportionately hurting Black households as Black Americans bear the brunt of higher prices.

Thanks to Joe Biden’s pro-criminal and weak open border policies that harm Black communities at a much higher rate than others, Black communities are less safe. Drug overdoses from fentanyl pouring into Black neighborhoods are spurring record number of drug overdoses among Black men.

President Donald J. Trump took action to improve the lives of Black Americans by making investments in programs like Opportunity Zones that led to $75 billion in new private investment into distressed communities, and prioritized support for Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

President Trump will ease the financial pressures placed on Black American households, re-establish law and order, and Make America Great Again!

The Trump Campaign Black American Business Leaders Roundtable includes:

These people should receive minimum wage and regular wincrease just like everyone else.....and tips are their own...and none of management's business.

Stop the auto tip on the bills.

What about the all star game that was pulled because of GA election law reforms. Biden called it Jim Crowe II. It was a big lie. Black businesses lost millions.

If you think working for tips is being favored, think again.

He needs to hit these areas frequently. These folks have predominantly drank the kool aid. They cannot see what their voting habits have done to their once thriving communities.
The more eyes opened the better chance these folks can vote for people that will actually advance their lives into more prosperous times.

If you really think that is “favored” status-you have likely not worked to support yourself at a job where the paid wage is a pittance and the “real” income is from tips-like hospitality workers, waitpersons, etc, like many of us have...

Yes! Carson is too quiet spoken, not forceful. Sorry, but he'd come off as Trump's houseboy who follows orders.

Byron Donalds or Wesley Hunt are far stronger personalities. They bring it.

I think Byron and Wesley could throw a couple great rallies if needed. Add Tulsi too she loves America.

I often make reference to one of the worst evils to the black community, and that is what I call “toxic black culture”.

These men on this panel, do not observe or support that.

This gives me hope watching this. (split screen)

I took some heat on my views on Tulsi Gabbard, which I had to do a nearly overnight change on.

I would have never supported Gabbard. I saw her, and rightly so, as a snake in the grass Leftist who would lie though her teeth to get to where she wanted to go.

I watched the Tucker Carlson interview with her, and honestly, I did not want to watch. I was spending a week with a friend, and he watches that stuff all the time (I never watch television) so, it was his house, and I didn’t want to go into another room, so I figured out I would just get my laptop and surf the Internet while he watched.

And then I thought “What the Hell am I doing? I should just listen and see how right I am about her?” (And I am not often wrong in those judgements, though I absolutely have blind spots)

I really watched and listened, and I felt that I had greatly misjudged her. It compelled me to publicly state how wrong I felt I had been.

As it stands now, even though I do disagree with her on significant issues such as abortion, I wouldn’t blink if Trump chose her.

However, if he chose Byron Donalds, I would absolutely support and endorse that decision. I like him. From what I know of him, he is consistently on my side of issues. The fact that he spoke out publicly against the certification of the Arizona and Pennsylvania electors speaks volumes to me about what kind of person he is.

Not like a lot of the spineless bums who put their fingers in the air to see which way the wind is blowing.

Thank you. None of those men on that panel could be accused of being an affirmative action hire.

On a side note, I have always been a huge fan of Dr. Carson, but I don’t want to see him get involved at that level.

It isn’t that I don’t think he could do a good job. He comes across as a genuinely good person, and I would hate to see him have to swim in that polluted water.

I do like him as a cabinet choice, but if Trump chose him, I would support that as well.

I have enjoyed watching this panel discussion. As I said, it fills me with hope.

And I just performed a mental exercise to sharpen my understanding.

This is a great panel of black conservatives.

Think of an equal number of black men on the Left. Who would you choose to sit on the other side and have a two sided discussion?

Can you even see it happening? Who would you get? I cannot think of more than one or two from the Left who would be able to have a cogent discussion with this group of conservative black men.
