Or maybe not. The Democrats wouldn’t be able to do much without the help of the worthless, complicit GOP elite. We have to consider that as well.
Not to mention likely over $1 trillion dollars every year when all the costs, direct and Incidental costs are added up.
Decades ago the figure was between $400 billion and $600 billion every year- today that nu ber is very ,ikely over $1 trillion every year.

With all of the known illegals and estimates of 2-3x gotaways, over the past 25 years, how do we still keep hearing 11-12, now up to 16 million. Did the others go home or die? During Trump 1.0 his admin estimated around 27 million using, IIRC, a Yale study. Elsewhere I’ve seen counts of as many as 60 million and that was first several years ago. Based on what my eyes see everywhere, I suspect that the 60 million is low nowadays.
Simply put, the cost of illegal immigration is lives of innocent people.
All other harms and waste illegals cause is in addition to the innocent lives they take directly and indirectly.
In addition to murders and related ways they obviously cause deaths, they take up ER and hospital space, take govt monies, resources, take jobs, don’t follow laws let alone common sense at times, etc, which all precipitate into deaths to US Citizens
Can you imagine vacationing in another country and something you do causes a level of harm or death to people there and you just continue on your way? That’s what illegals do except they stay, repeatedly doing as they please.
Yep. IT’s only the potential Democrat votes. They don’t care about the huge increase in crime and added need for more law enforcement. They don’t care about inundation of our school systems and the needed addition of ESL teachers, they don’t care about overloading our medical system and resources (e.g., ERs). Loss in property availability and values when large numbers of them move in, Introduction of historically eradicated diseases. Increased load on our prison systems, Fraudulent use of government benefits (SSI, SSDI, SSA, SNAP, TANF, Section 8, EITC, Advanced EITC). It goes on and on and on and on. All so menial jobs can be filled at bottom dollar prices.
The official government number for Foreign Born - legal and illegal - is close to 52 million - 15.3% of our population - the highest percentage since the 1890s.
Interestingly enough, Bernie Sanders (of all people) once agreed with you. Here he is, from 2019:
“Oh my god, there’s a lot of poverty in this world, and you’re going to have people from all over the world. And I don’t think that’s something that we can do at this point. Can’t do it.”
Sanders has changed his position since then. But for one brief moment he did make some sense.
The sobering part is that with a 60,000,000, if Trump 2.0 kept his promise to deport them all (and over the next four years), that would be over 41,000 every day. Will Trump not only initiate that effort, but sustain it?
The cost of illegal immigration is the loss of the United States.
Being Invaded by a foreign populace means you lost, they conquered you. Kinda well known throughout history.
If half the population of this country had any common sense, they would not have elected people who hate this country.
A majority of the Foreign Born are here legally...
Naturalized USA citizens or Green Cards or waiting for the war or the violence in their home country to stop.
Those folks are not leaving, unless they get a prime offer from one of the wealthy European countries.
And if 15-16 million have arrived under Biden...
THE ACTUAL CALCULATIONS SHOULD BE MUCH CLOSER TO 65 MILLION.
