A 750ft cargo ship has sunk in the Red Sea days after Yemen's Houthi rebels said they launched a blistering drone attack on the vessel, reportedly killing one mariner on board.
Dramatic footage released by the group shows the moment a barrage of rockets slammed into the MV Tutor, with a direct hit triggering a huge explosion after striking the centre of the defenceless coal carrier.
It would be the second ship sunk as part of the rebels' campaign targeting Red Sea shipping after the Rubymar, which was carrying more than 41,000 tonnes of fertiliser, went down in March around two weeks after being struck by missiles.

It all has to do with the rules of engagement. We have to relearn how wars are fought. You KILL the enemy. I assure you, a carrier group can do that, if they’re allowed. Apparently, the current theory of victory is to use ships to run the Houthi out of ammo, rather than killing them and blowing up the ammo.
Another approach is to hit the producers and conveyors of the arms the Houthi use.

One crew member, apparently in the engine room was murdered by the Houthis. He was not a Jew, just a guy trying to make a living. Other guys, making a living who survived, were an armed security team who watched the drone coming at them not bothering to fire a shot at it.

The British pretty much ended piracy in the Caribbean in the early 18th century by invading and occupying Jamaica, hanging pirates and using it as a base to suppress piracy in the area thereafter.

The targeted seas include several hundred thousand square miles. We can't be everywhere. Short of going to war with Yemen, these attacks will continue, and a few will succeed. What are you calling for? War with Yemen? Hundreds of thousands of American boots on the ground? Or leave the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden, and wash our hands of the the whole "Freedom of Navigation" thing?
