A 750ft cargo ship has sunk in the Red Sea days after Yemen's Houthi rebels said they launched a blistering drone attack on the vessel, reportedly killing one mariner on board.
Dramatic footage released by the group shows the moment a barrage of rockets slammed into the MV Tutor, with a direct hit triggering a huge explosion after striking the centre of the defenceless coal carrier.
It would be the second ship sunk as part of the rebels' campaign targeting Red Sea shipping after the Rubymar, which was carrying more than 41,000 tonnes of fertiliser, went down in March around two weeks after being struck by missiles.

$30 billion Carrier Group is useless against pirates funded by Iran.
And Iran got billions of Dollars from Biden to buy the weapons to give to the terrorist. And the democrats want Iran to have nuclear bombs.
It's only useless because of the cowardly and profoundly stupid American and European political leadership.
Also, curious how quiet environmental groups are on the Red Sea pollution Muslims are causing.
It all has to do with the rules of engagement. We have to relearn how wars are fought. You KILL the enemy. I assure you, a carrier group can do that, if they’re allowed. Apparently, the current theory of victory is to use ships to run the Houthi out of ammo, rather than killing them and blowing up the ammo.
Another approach is to hit the producers and conveyors of the arms the Houthi use.
Just doing their part to END COAL so you can’t really fault them for wanting to got green right?
Bummer that we no longer have any influence over ‘Putin’ to hold Iran back. Kind of think it may have something to do with ‘Ukraine policy’, but then again, no, no way, the two are TOTALLY UNRELATED. LOL!
One plane on board can take out the entire rebel capitol, as well as significant collateral damage.
CIC says "no go". It is a photo op, noting more, using muli billion dollar props.

The US, UK, and others should use the Houthis for target practice. Eliminate the threat.
Yes. Our tax dollars โat work.โ
Pirates should always be open season with no bag limit.
One crew member, apparently in the engine room was murdered by the Houthis. He was not a Jew, just a guy trying to make a living. Other guys, making a living who survived, were an armed security team who watched the drone coming at them not bothering to fire a shot at it.

Disagree, the USNis capable against the rag tag Huities, it’s our pussy, cowardly leadership, both in the pentagon and WH.
The Suez canal is now worthless due to the Houthis. One would think that Egypt might take an interest in dealing with them.
It's only useless because of the cowardly and profoundly stupid American and European political leadership.
The British pretty much ended piracy in the Caribbean in the early 18th century by invading and occupying Jamaica, hanging pirates and using it as a base to suppress piracy in the area thereafter.
Just sayin'
>>These people are nothing more than murderers.. They declare war against no one, but murder all within reach.
Kinda like the Barbary Pirates... It’s a pity that the nation that dealt with them is no longer around.
The targeted seas include several hundred thousand square miles. We can't be everywhere. Short of going to war with Yemen, these attacks will continue, and a few will succeed. What are you calling for? War with Yemen? Hundreds of thousands of American boots on the ground? Or leave the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden, and wash our hands of the the whole "Freedom of Navigation" thing?
