“I could make a ham and cheese sandwich”

You could then indict Trump!

Indict Trump, or the sandwich he is holding?

Here’s a thought, go back to growing them in California. They’re way bigger and more delicious as well.

To each his own Avocado. I never got their appeal.
To me, most avocados I have eaten tasted like boiled newsprint paper. Maybe I have ruined my taste buds from years of pouring ketchup, karo syrup or Mae Ploys chilli sauce on everything that didn’t move.

"Can one grow them in Wisc. [even “indoors”]?"

..... I dunno about how they grow where u live but I am sure they can be grown indoors with a little TLC. I live in the Sunny Southwest where they are grown as crops but I believe there are sites online where you can learn how to grow the Avacados indoors ..... Good Luck.

I buy avocados from CA sources. My tree is fruiting yet, though.

This might be why- they are concealing drugs in them:

California imports 15,000,000 avocados a week, border patrol would not let me bring 1 back from my vacation in central america, they took it and put me on a list, I have to go through food inspection any time I reenter the US now.

I used to grow my own avocados and mangoes when I lived in Florida. I would get fresh ones every day, put the pits in little pots to sprout them, and give the baby trees as gifts.

There is no need to get either fruit from Mexico and enrich the cartels.

If you had a heater row tunnel - maybe. The cost of production would eat up the profits, though.

I stopped buying Avocados from Mexico, though. Supposedly the drug cartels have taken them over, strong-arming farmers, if not outright killing them and taking their crops. :(

Let’s Go, Brandon! *SPIT*
