Despite Moscow's threats over Finland's NATO accession, Russian bases near the Finnish border are virtually empty as Russia has redeployed personnel and equipment from these bases to Ukraine.
Source: Finnish broadcaster Yle, citing sources in intelligence, as reported by European Pravda
Details: Despite Russia threatening Finland with "consequences" if it joined NATO and pledging to increase its military presence near the border, Russian military bases in the region are far emptier than they were a year ago….

Meanwhile Biden faces structural handicaps in his upcoming debate with Trump.
NATO with the Biden team blames China, N.Korea and bad luck for Russian military victory in Ukraine.
Those Shovels are not to be underestimated.
Ukraine is about 35,000 KIAs from a rout.
Good to see the Western Media confirm that Russia is NOT a threat to Finland.
I guess the mods pulled the article on Russian SF liberating children on drips for adrenalchrome?
Not now. Not as long as Putin keeps throwing his troops into the meat grinder he started in Ukraine. He CAN still lose that war, judging by the results of the Kharkiv fiasco. Tearing down his economy to boost his ego isn't working out so well.
The reason listed for that thread pull was “hoax”.
Headline could have written in 1943.
In actions like this Russia has shown over and over that they don’t see any NATO threat, they don’t seem concerned at all about pulling defenses away from NATO borders and haven’t shown concern during most of this invasion.
Either that or they are desperate. Or both. Neither particularly good for Russia.
And it’s good they did. The whole adrenochrome stupidity is an embarrassment to our side.

They have been doing this all along and it seemed to me very casually, showing a total lack of concern about a threat of being attacked by NATO, the same indifference that they showed to Sweden and Finland joining NATO.
Russia seems to see NATO as not any sort of threat as an invader, but only as an obstacle and possible opposition to Russian aggression and territorial goals.
We fomented a Ukraine revolution/coup in 2014, caused a civil war and sided with the neo-Nazis and Ukrainian nationalists that wanted to exterminate the ethnic Russian population.
We encouraged Ukraine to ignore the Minsk Agreement it signed that would have brought peace to the region.
We armed Ukraine with offensive weapons, teased NATO membership for Ukraine and opened biological weapons labs there.
Then we built the Ukrainian army into the largest army in the NATO zone besides us, and massed it for deployment in the area of the Donbass in obvious preparation for an attack.
And finally, when Russia responded to all that, we claimed they invaded Ukraine for no good reason to annex territory.
They were perfectly happy when NATO was in Afghanistan. It was only when Putin needed to distract his people from the egregious suppression of personal freedoms that followed his "election" in 2012 that this NATO-NATO-NATO business was ginned up.
A little surprised the Norks haven’t supplied a division or two for some real world training.
Constant repetition of lies from the Kremlin’s handbook won’t convince anyone but you yourself. Except for a dozen or so sh[tposters, everyone knows the score now.
So the CIA didn’t foment a color revolution in 2014 like they have done in countless other countries and are now doing in the USA?
Russia is not joining the New Fag World Order. That is all.
“judging by the results of the Kharkiv fiasco. Tearing down his economy”
You got any of that stuff for sale?
In a word, NO. Only Moscow's useful idiots still subscribe to that bit of horse hockey.
I have learned the futility of debating pathological liars such as yourself who shamelessly cling to transparent lies.
