NYPD hunts for anti-Israel protester who told ‘Zionists’ to ID themselves on subway

The NYPD is hunting for the anti-Israel protester who took over a New York subway car and demanded “Zionists” raise their hands — then said, “this is your chance to get out.”

A wanted poster released Wednesday asks New Yorkers for help identifying the man so police can arrest him on a coercion charge.

“The subject chanted ‘Raise your hands if you’re a Zionist,” the poster states, “Repeat after me, this is your chance to get out!”

Viral video from the vile June 10 chant at a 5 train inside Union Square became emblematic of a recent surge of antisemitism in New York City.

I am an AVID supporter of Israel and if I was in the subway car with this POS I would have told him to come talk with me, but calling this coercion under NYSPL seems to be a stretch.

He was laughing as he told riders to ID themselves. I wish someone had stood up in Spartacus fashion and said, “I’m a Zionist!” The sheeple on camera were afraid. He had power over them at that moment. 😤

I'm lucky. I'm armed when I go to NYC. 99.99% of people there are not able to arm themselves (although I would suggest a small stun gun to be carried at all times. They are legal).

Normal people are terrified when they go into the subway because they know they will encounter a criminal or a crazy person (or both) or lunatics like this supporter of terrorism.
