He had a wife back in Texas, and a Russian girlfriend in Korea who left him and returned home to Russia. He’s an idiot for chasing after her. He admits to getting in a physical confrontation with her and stealing about $100. She claimed he threatened to kill her, which he denies. He claims he only “restrained her”. A Russian citizen would have got a slap on the wrist and been sent to Ukraine, so he’s lucky to get off with 4 years. Sometimes stupid hurts.
