New York Times columnist Thomas L. “Tom” Friedman, a close associate of President Joe Biden, writes in his latest column that the U.S should force Israel to give up the war against Hamas in Gaza and let the terror group claim “victory.”
Friedman is a “conduit” for messages from the White House about Middle East policy, according to Politico, and therefore his column can be interpreted as a threat to Israel — an “ultimatum,” as Friedman puts it, on the war.
The columnist, once respected for his reporting during the First Lebanon War, has become a Democratic Party mouthpiece, and has even resorted to antisemitic themes. He hates Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with such passion that he urged Biden not to accept a Saudi-Israel peace deal in the weeks before October 7.

No Tom, just forget about it.
“I just bet that someone in FDR’s administration suggested that we sabotage our D-Day effort so that the Nazis could win.”
In the Roosevelt Admin. it was actually let the Soviets win as the admin. was riddled with Soviet agents.
Something happened to Tom “Traitor” Freidman way back in 1982-83 when he wrote his book, “From Beirut to Jerusalem”.
He was a Pulitzer prize winning, serious journalist and as a Jew, somewhat close to Jews and Israel. But he changed. He changed over time to be a shoddy, mouthpiece organ for the extreme Left and most of his work in the last 40 years has been so biased against Israel that it is hard to believe.
Since then he has championed Barakeh Hussein Obama and any officials in Washington’s Arabist State Dept. who come out harshly criticizing Israel for anything and everything.
Perhaps he began to identify with Yassir Arafart’s PLO, the Hizbollah, Islamic Jihad and a myriad of other blood thirsty Arab groups trying to kill HIS people on a daily basis.
Poor Tom has lost his way and just regurgitates the Party line. May he rot in hell or sit in Lebanon’s Bekaa valley with the Hizbollah while they rape him and then remove his head from his body.
What's Friedman's FR nick?
Friedman showed how irrelevant he was in 2004, when he wrote a book named “The World Is Flat: A Short History of the Twenty-First Century.” With just the title he made two errors; he claimed that the world is flat, and he claimed that he knew the history of this century, when it had only begun.
