CNN rules for first US presidential debate: no props, muted microphones

The way I see it, Trump is willing to take a gamble, knowing that one of these times, whatever they are juicing Biteme up with, will have no benefit, and he will stand there staring like a vegetable.

Bidem may be up for one or two more debates. Then that will be it for him. His doctors will have to increase the dosage each time. But like you said, at some point, it'll stop working. But when?

Most think that the muted microphones idea is to stifle DJT, but I think the idea was conceived to hide the mumbling and ramblings of FJB . . .

What I expect.
The Biden camp will have all the questions in advance, and so will have crafted pithy, sound-bite remarks for Biden. His main problem will be mouthing his “answers”.
Which further means Biden will have to wear an earpiece.

Also, I expect frequent problems with Trump’s microphone.

Trump will swamp Atlanta with visits before the debate while Biden hides out in a Lilly white Rehobeth beach.

Trump needs to expose Biden’s confusion, it will be more difficult w/o a back and forth. Still possible, he needs really good prep to prepare how to do that.

I expect long, idiotic lectures from the CNN "moderators" that cut into Trump's time.

I just bet the moderators will be able to interrupt and "correct" Trump while he is speaking.

I don't doubt it for a minute.
