A galaxy of political and entertainment stars (of various wattage) arrived Saturday night at L.A. Live’s Peacock Theater for a gala fundraiser for President Biden’s reelection campaign.

Paul Anka is a Canadian of Arabic ancestry and is 82 years old. He is also Jason Bateman’s father-in-law, so one of them brought the other (probably Bateman’s doing).
Are the celebs all has beens? You have to have an established name to get invited to these things. That means today’s hot new stars (if there are any) might not be invited, while the people who were invited (Streisand, Clooney, Roberts) may not have had any big projects lately. Some of the others, small timers like Kathryn Hahn, Jack Black, Jeff Ross, Jon Cryer, are still familiar names in Hollywood, though far from actual stars.
Anka’s had so many longtime hits (and written so many hits such as Sinatras
huge hit, My Way)..........his royalties alone, to this day, must be in the zillions.
Plus Anka has been in many facets of lucrative show biz over the years.
I’m sure he invested a lot of his income as well.

I watched Obama lead Biden off the stage following the red arrows. In other words, they anticipated Biden being confused and put the arrows down to lead him. Follow the arrows Joe.
